We struggled for 6 1/2 years with infertility. Some of the hardest years of my life, especially because all of our friends and family were having kids. After about 4 1/2 years, our OB said that in vitro was our last resort, and we of course declined and thought we just couldn’t have kids. Then we found out about a NaPro doc and that my progesterone was off, as well as an elevated prolactin level so my body thought I was constantly breastfeeding. The Creighton model and NaPro brought us 3 of our 4 babies (one was a happily unplanned pregnancy!) I am 37 and pregnant with my fourth baby. I cannot say enough for these methods. Not only did it help us conceive our first, but now we know what works for us going forward (for us, femara and progesterone and about a year). I have had to take progesterone injections for all of my babies and am determined that I would have miscarried all of them had I not taken progesterone. I feel so blessed not to have lost any babies. Also, my original OB refused to check progesterone which is infuriating. That was the first thing they checked at my new OB.
Also, we conceived in January 2013. In October 2012 we went to a healing mass of St Gerard at Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, OH. When we conceived, I emailed to let them know and they said 7 other couples had conceived also!

Ive been subbed to you for years and im finally leaving a comment! this video reminded me to be so grateful for my fertility DESPITE the words of discouragement I get. I have 3 under 3 and one of my "fears" since having my 3rd was the social stigma of having 4 under 4 or even 4 in general. I get so many looks and comments "not always outright rude but sometimes passive aggressive" and its taught me to be ashamed of my fertility and how many children we have. I had tears in my eyes hearing you talk about your miscarriages and praying for another baby- I should pray more and thank God more for my kids- rather than being afraid of the worlds judgment.

I was only 19 and my husband was 23 when we got married We both came from a Catholic family, and we both came from small family. My husband was the only child, and i have 2 sebling but the other one died. So after we got married we really want to start family right away. My husband joined the Military so that i can have a good health care coverage. We have done about everything just to have a baby, but nothing happening my husband and i always a believers that everything happened for a reason specially after we read the verse in the book of (Wisdom 3:13-14 to 4:1) So it was never painful to both of us cuz of our faith, we learned to just live it to God, even thou after we already been married for over 18 years. In late 1997 my husband was deployed to Afghanistan, and he got hurt and made him completely paralized that he need 24/7 of my cares and that we understand the answers of why we didn't have children. My husband pass away in December 8 1999. I was only 39 years old when my husband died, but i never remarried but i instead become more close to God. I don't fills sad not having children cuz God gives me all his answers.

Please pray for my husband and I and our family! Holy family, pray for us.
We have been married for 4 years without any pregnancies. We were directed by the Holy Spirit to foster to adopt and have a beautiful little toddler boy who we are hoping to adopt (in God's time), we are also discerning about fostering to adopt boy and girl twins who are around 4 years old, while also praying for pregnancies.
Please pray that my husband and myself seek out good and not worldly things or desires. Please pray that we may be blessed with a family full of love and children.
    Jesus, I trust in you!!!!

Hi Heather I love your channel! I’m in the UK. I was blessed with a beautiful daughter in 2017 and would love to have another baby. Sadly I have had two miscarriages since she was born. I am now 43 and my husband has a very low sperm count so I feel the odds are against us but I am going to keep praying and leave it to God. Like you said he knows what he is doing and we need trust in him. I will pray the novena too. Thank you for your help with this video. God bless xx

LOL ... I have no idea why I watched this video. I am almost 47, single, and going through menopause. This video had nothing to do with me. Yet, I sat here and watched it anyway. lolololololol. You do so much good for so many people, Heather. Your talk on struggling with infertility and crying yourself to sleep is how I feel about being single. My whole life, I have wanted to be married. I truly feel that is my calling. Yet, it has never happened. I have been on Catholic Match for two years and it is so quiet there. I only met one man on there and he wasn't looking for anything serious. Could you do a video on singleness? I know I'm older than the typical 20s and 30s single ladies, but the pain gets worse each year that I remain single. I feel in my core I was meant for marriage and I cannot believe God would put such a strong desire in me if it wasn't my calling. I have done novena after novena. Rosary after rosary. 54-day Rosary novenas. The pain you described when you faced infertility is the pain I feel being unmarried. I have prayed for a husband for almost 30 years now. I do have a 23 year old son from an exboyfriend at a time when I wasn't a practicing Catholic but I want a marriage. Like most people, I don't want to grow old alone. Do you have suggestions? A certain novena? Maybe I've done the wrong ones ... certain prayers ... tips? Can you do a video on this? Thank you. P.S. - I have kept you and your family and pregnancy in my prayer intentions. Watching your videos are a highlight of my week. I love your family and your faith in God. God bless you and all your subscribers

Thanks for this video Heather!! Yes please pray for me. I have been struggling for many years now. I have been working with one of the Saint Paul VI Institute doctors in Omaha (even though I don’t live in Nebraska) and they are wonderful indeed. They will really do everything they can to get to the bottom of it, versus just bypassing the issue with IVF or IUI. They work with many patients out of state and even in foreign countries (we do tele health appointments or email back and forth, send out blood specimens by mail, etc) I had multiple surgeries and have been on supplements and medication to help. At least I do feel healthier. One thing I would add to what you said is that NaPro Technology actually specializes in women’s health overall and not just fertility. They have patients who are teens and even older women. They can help with issues that are not related to fertility (irregular cycles, irregular bleeding, irregular hormones, cramps, etc.)

Thank you for sharing your testimony. As you were trying to put into words the pain infertility brings, I completely understood that pain and for the first time in over 10 years I felt someone completely understood the pain I suffer from infertility. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks during my husbands deployment. Ever since 2009 we have not been able to conceive. We are not turning any younger and I do hope God sends us children. I humbly ask that you pray for us to be blessed with a healthy, full term pregnancy. I desire with all my heart being a mom of a living child. I will also start praying a novena and ask that our petition be added to your daily prayers. I know Mother Mary will intercede before God for The Cisneros-Lemus to conceive. I thank you in advance for your prayers. 🙏🏼

We struggled with infertility for 6 years and would also suggest that a Reproductive Endocrinologist is an excellent place to go. We were so fortune to find one who listened to our desires and our limitations and she worked with us and honored our wishes and never pushed us into anything. We now have 16 year old triplets!

Maybe I should start a channel like yours to share my Catholic faith, infertility/endometriosis journey, and how the Blessed Mother and her rosary helped me? You're right - it is so painful. I cried myself to sleep many times too. My advice? Pick up the rosary or do a 54 rosary novena and offer it up! Yes, it's very difficult to realize God's will was for me and my husband not to be able to conceive. I'd love to adopt, but how at age 55? Not many agencies ect. would pick a couple in their fifties to adopt a child. So I continue to pray the rosary and offer it up - it's all I can do.

I'm not Catholic, but a believer in Christ, and I totally second PRAYER! And trusting the Lord. Also a good diet and balancing hormones. I didn't experience infertility, but it did take us nearly a year to get pregnant with her first, and that seemed like a long time to me! With my second, it only took a couple of months, and with to my last two, they were both a bit of a surprise 😲😄 I think another thing that can affect hormones, is stress, anxiety and depression etc. Very important. Changing Diet can be helpful. I switched to a lower grains and processed foods and sugars, to a higher healthy fat (I eat a lot of saturated fat, from grass-fed meat, coconut oil, grass-fed butter, avocado oil, etc, but not a lot of processed fats) fruit and vegetable, and healthy protein diet. I'm not an expert, but my body is definitely more fertile than it used to be, so I am sure my diet has helped. Get enough B vitamins and vitamin D also. We need way more Vit D than people think.

My husband and I suffered from infertility for 16 years - from the time we were married until the time my ovaries were removed due to cysts. We never had a baby. We had 2 very early miscarriages. We conceived on our honeymoon and got a positive pregnancy test. The next day my period started and the test at the doctor’s office was negative. I don’t believe that the blastocyst even had a chance to implant. The next time, I was pregnant, maybe 6-8 weeks along and I didn’t know it. My period started and in with the blood was a tiny pink embryo about an inch long. So I didn’t know I was pregnant until I’d already miscarried. We tried various infertility treatments which did not work. We explored adoption and found that we just could not afford it. In the 1990’s and 2000’s when we were researching it, the cost was $20,000-$30,000. Now it’s more like $40.000. We considered being foster parents or doing foster-to-adopt, but there are so many hoops you have to jump through and then when they start placing children with you, you have to be able to give them back because not every foster ends in adoption. I didn’t think I could handle falling in love with a child and then having to give the child back. It’s very hard for me to hear about someone who has struggled with infertility for a much shorter time than I did and then ended up with a baby either biologically or adopted.

One thing I found super frustrating during my journey thru infertility while being a practicing Catholic and in this video is that there is an assumption it’s female infertility. 50% of the time it’s male factor. Putting all the emphasis on women is hard. After some spiritual duration from a wonderful Jesuit I prayed and discerned that IUI though technically against church teaching was what God had for our family. I think being open to discernment is always a good idea.

I struggle with where to draw the line on fertility treatment tbh. Technically even a man getting his sperm tested is going against teaching but it's just as necessary as a woman getting tested which i did and discovered a lot of blockages which I needed surgery to remove. We said we would leave it there but when that didn't work we said maybe the next thing, then the next things etc. We knew for sure we would never do IVF even though my views don't completely match up with the Catholic Church. We did do some things that we wouldn't do now but we also did everything "natural" and nothing worked. We did eventually have a baby but that's a story for a different day :-)

I have been waiting for this video with open arms. Your heart for helping others is so wonderful. What was the diagnosis for your infertility ???? What changed to get pregnant with your other children. Two years at age thirty is actually not super long, I know it feels like an eternity. Are you sure you were try to conceive when you were fertile ? You don’t seem to have a problem getting pregnant. 🤔 I know you have said that you ovulate a little early. Maybe you didn’t have infertility, maybe your timing was just off? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Alot of women have this misunderstanding. Most tracking is standard, based on ovulation as day 14 to 15, but a lot of women don’t ovulate on those days of their cycle. You would have needed to be using NFP & ovulation Kits to predict accurately. You mentioned you got a predictor monitor in the mail, but you were already prego. Were you using NFP to get prego? If not How were you tracking to know your fertile window? You’re definitely timing it correctly now, yay! 😁 🤗
I’m sooo happy you mentioned about where to get progesterone. I wanted to look into that also. Mine is low, I would want/ need some of i got prego. Some O.B. Don’t even take it into consideration until you’ve already had 2 miscarriages. That is so sad. Babies that could have been saved otherwise. God Bless you, I’m so happy that novena was huge blessing 😘 congratulations on your new bun in the oven. ❤️

God is not going to send you a surrogate mother at all.
I' m afraid that this procedure is morally forbiden if you believe in Him. In our Cathechism you can check out why...
My prays for you to achieve your baby in a natural way or adopt 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🕊️

Hi Hemely, I'm sorry for your sadness. Maybe you aren't aware of what the Church teaches about IVF & surrogacy, so I thought I'd point it out to you, so that you are informed about what the Church teaches about it, before possibly pursuing the surrogate and/or IVF path to motherhood. I know that surrogacy & IVF may seem like a good, and even honorable option. I once thought it was a great option for people facing infertility problems... but then, I came to understand Church teaching on it, and realized the many ethical & moral problems associated with it - many that have played out publicly in our society. I now realize that the Church is absolutely correct on what it teaches, and always teaches the truth, even when the truth is a "hard" truth to accept.
"May the Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” 🙏

This is completely OFF-TOPIC, but I once knew a woman who was about 19-21 years old or so, and right after she had her 1st, newly born infant, she wanted ANOTHER one... and I was like "Don't you think it'd be wise to rest and let your body regain its' strength." Plus, she wasn't exactly "financially stable", so I couldn't imagine how she'd want another kid, especially when her mother was the one taking care of her 1st. I suppose she was REALLY EAGER to have another one, which thankfully I don't wish to understand why that is, for the reasons I stated. XD

Just curious- I understand that IVF is not accepted by the catholic faith, what about Artificial Insemination (IUI)? Thanks!

Lupe E. Great question! I first want to say that everything the Catholic Church teaches or does not accept is for our own good. Because IUI removes conception from the sexual (conjugal) act, it is contrary to Church teaching. I just said a prayer for whomever in your life is enduring infertility

hey! I absolutely love your channel! I had a question tho, what if its the man's fault? Like I know it is so common for men to have low sperm count or slow swimmers who cant make it? Does napro help with that as well?

Hi. I'm just wondering how these hormones are sourced to be used for infertility. Is it morally correct to be pumping ourselves with hormones that are not our own. Asking sincerely not trying to play devil's advocate or anything. I am thinking of beginning this journey myself. Thank you 😊

Please someone reply. Ok, IVF is wrong but a child who is born of IVF, how does the church accpet this child??
I mean I was born of IVF and I didn't know that it was not accepted in the church. But since I got to know about it I am having doubts about my existence. Did God not want me to be here? I was an accident? Everyone else was formed in the mother's womb by God himself, but I was deliberately brought into existence. I am struggling with this, I used to go to church frequently earlier, but since I have got to know about this I am having second thoughts on my faith and religion. I feel that God doesn't love me, he didn't create me. This breaks my heart. Pls help me someone.

I've read there is a thing called seed rotation that should help balance estrogen and progesterone(people use it to get regular periods), I dont know how good it works, but in that eating sunflower and sesame seeds in the second half of your period helps with progesterone.

Hey go check out The last Reformation’s channel, what I saw in this channel was amazing!! I saw people getting healed from back pains and sicknesses in Jesus name. What I learned is when we receive the Holy Spirit we have the gift of healing and many more. We can be more than just Christians we can become disciples of Jesus, I hope you receive this god bless you.
