Fighting deathstroke was the best boss battle I've played in the whole series.
I have to agree.
It is I love mr freeze but after 3 or 2 times of doing it it's easy when deathstroke is always damn hard for me
I agree, i just did that boss fight and received a few hits in the process. I would say after 100% all 4 games a number of times that i was an expert but he always gives me a run for my money. Mr Freeze is also a challenge on new game plus.

Because it's not made by Rocksteady, apparently that makes it automatically terrible in the eyes of many fanboys.
I thought it was pretty good, they definitely played it safe gameplay wise (not much was added) and it felt a bit short compared to City, but I really enjoyed the story and thought it was pretty fun.

To me it wouldn't have been so bad if 1) Deathstroke had a bigger role. 2) They had stuck with Black Mask being the big bad this time and left out Joker (they could have used him as a DLC chapter instead of rehashing the BTAS Mr. Freeze plot.) Other than that is was pretty good.
Deathstroke Clan Rules idc what anyone says that Deathstroke is still the best hand to hand boss fight in the Arkham games.
The boss fights were the biggest highlights in origins.
The other Arkham games didn't have really have any good boss fights, the only one I could think of is Mr freeze.

I don't know why this game has such bad reviews from critics. it has one of the best story's of 2013 and there is more action then in arkham city. arkham city was really slow at times. Origins was not. they game was fantastic. great job WB Games Montreal! ;D
All the games of the Batman: Arkham series (including the mobile games and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate) need to come to the 8th-generation consoles.

Arkham Origins had the best marketing of the Arkham Series until Knight IMO. and its the second best game in the series again in my opinion, behind Arkham City.

PLEASE REMASTER THIS!! Definitely a favorite of mine, and the multiplayer was so freaking fun and original. Been waiting forever for a remaster, and if they ever decide to finally remaster it, multiplayer and all, i hope it gets released on a December to fit the Christmas theme, and that the devs take their time with it. Unfortunately too many games nowadays are rushed so it would be refreshing to see a break from that
[EDIT] also pls ffs if you remaster it, fix the Dark Knight System. It's so stupid that you can only complete specific challenges if you notice them in time for specific story missions, otherwise you'll never be able to complete them again. The Dark Knight challenges need to be available in challenge maps

This trailer is siick and really makes me want to play Arkham Origins again!🔥 I absolutely love this game along with the other Arkham games.
He dropped him onto a Christmas tree. He knew the guy would survive. Knowing how far he can drop someone without killing them is also kind of his thing.
You know the Joker that I miss the most is the Long Haired insane Joker from "The Batman". People never remember that one, he was hysterical! Voice actor and overall character design was stellar.
I remember seeing this trailer everywhere in movies when i was 8 i really wanted it but never got it..
But about 2 weeks ago i decided to dust my ps3 to play some batman arkham city which i had got 2 years ago from a friend which was great so my dad saw me play it and thought it was cool and coincidentally we went to gamestop and i couldn't believe my luck as i got batman return to arkham which includes batman arkham asylum and city and i got batman arkham origins im so excited!!!
A Remaster would be grand!

Not a chance. Arkham Origins is the best Batman game ever made and has the best Batman story in years - outside comics.
Shazaam What's so good about the story? The story was pretty weak. And no, the twist of Joker impersonating Black Mask does not make the whole story good.
The assassins and Black Mask (you know, the characters heavily advertised for the game) were almost completely irrelevant to the story. Hell, over half the cast was irrelevant to the plot.
And what exactly IS the plot? Aside from trying to make us believe that Bats is suddenly more accepting of help by the end of the game (which he isn't if you've played the previous Arkham games), there really was no plot until the last third of the game which was "stop Bane and Joker at Blackgate".

reasons why it is considered the worst is due to the predictable story, joker being the main antagonist, glitches, sluggish combat, plot inconsistency with the rest of the games, badly designed environment (questionable changes to north gotham, environments look cool but gameplay not well done) grapple not as perceise and the multiplayer.

i like this game, i would like to see it on ps4 like the others.
They've already explained and defended that in an interview. They said that they don't want us to feel like we're given less in this game first of all, but will still make sure some things looks more prototype-like than in the two previous games. Second, Batman only uses the gadgets he can and needs to adapt to certain situations. Now when it's all about the whole city especially. Third, he can for the time try things he then chooses to never use again for one or another reason.

Deserved to be bigger than Arkham City really, especially considering this is supposed to be like, GOTHAM CITY. Its tiny! I mean like wheres the Batmobile!?!? and dont give me that crap "Batmans still working on it" for like what the next game!? Hmm so I wonder where will they go from here.
...if you spent more than ten minutes in the cave, you would've noticed the batmobile being built (before Bane destroys it and shoves it on Alfred). Not only that, this story is on Year 2 of him being Batman. I doubt you can build that thing in under 2 years.
IGNXIII No no noo!! I lived in the Batcave, I saw his workshop that was nice and oh yeh that training area with all his weights (Batman likes to keep toned), and I saw the "Batmobile". At first I thought oh yeh hes working on it to show its like a prequel but at sametime I was like, nah man that fuckin sucks!! I want to raz it arnd Gothan and run over some people and shit. :((

...you can't run over people in the Batmobile because it's Batman. He doesn't kill people. He only used it on Bane because he knew Bane could take the hit.
IGNXIII Yes but they could always do a kind of Batman good-or-bad meter, where according to your actions throughout the game it either goes up(to show Batman is an angel and would literally stop to let grannies cross the street and shit) OR, he truly has a dark-side and just doesnt give a shit about anyone.
I mean where when you're razzing the batmobile through Gotham streets, you have to decide whether you want to curb a pavement and run-over Innocent/civilians or focus on catching(and severely punishing) the bad guys, heading to your main objective.
No it's not, this is just one of the 3 islands of Gotham.
Batman Arkham Knight will be the game where we get to explore the entirety of Gotham.

Spoilers: i was really disappointed with this game, i wanted black mask and the assassins to be the main part of the story and the joker to tie in like he did in arkham city, but no once again joker is behind everything and the center of attention, plus the assassins where to easy, especially death stroke, the game was way to short as well... damn you eric holmes!

I agree with you... The heavy advertisement on Falcony was awesome, We faced Deathstroke to early (Here's hoping he's the Story DLC!). But they got the perfect voice actor for Sionis and they made the game all about Joker..

TheKingofRants its the multiplayer aspects and the clichés. WB Games cold of used the extra Mega Bites and could of made the story as good as the other Batman Arkham Games. w/ the multiplayer.

How I want the Deathstroke boss fight:
Open arena, fight starts out with melee only. Deathstroke is like the martial artist but better with counters. Then Deathstroke takes out his sword and you have to snap it in half with a blade dodge takedown. You throw down smoke and disappear. Now you have to be stealthy and avoid him or else he will shoot at you with his guns until you hide from him. Then Deathstroke hunts you down vise versa, and you have to set traps for him.
I hope they keep the Arkham series going and they should be able to because it has been a massive success with game critics and gamers and as a gamer myself I have loved the Arkham series

It's about Batman's jump out of the urban legend. Black Mask has brought the top eight assassins of the DC Universe to Gotham on the Night Before Christmas (I'm not sure why, but I'm not complaining.) via a promise of fifty-million American dollars going to the one person who kills Batman.
I think they did a good job so far. Troy Baker really sounds like a younger and lighter toned Joker. And I hear a little bit of Kevin in Roger Craig Smith. Give them a chance.

I think it's Troy Baker (he did Joel from TLoU and Booker in Bioshock Infinite) voicing the Joker. He's a great voice actor so no complaints from me.

yes but they make references to events that happened in the comics, like Two-Face's origin, the Joker crippling Batgirl and Bane breaking Batman's back. those all happened before the Arkham games, and judging from the other trailers, this game looks like it'll showcase Bane and Batman's first fight.

I guess you can argue he needed to rely on more tools and equipment to make up for his lack of experience as he was starting out. Could also explain why his costume in the trailer was armored compared to his suit in the first two games.

Watching Arkham origins whilst my phone is in black and white mode hits different
the voice actors who are olaying Batman and Joker sound like younger versions of Hamill and Conroy.
This is set before the other games where he is still figuring himself out as the batman. He may do things a little more harsh than later on because he simply hasnt learned yet.

He just doesn't bring a million pieces of tech in his belt. He left some in the Batcave which he had no access to in either of the other games. Doesn't mean they aren't around.

Also: Deadpool is a direct inspiration from Deathstroke. And possibly the only man who could beat Deathstroke if he were given the almighty-prep-time (even Batman would stalemate on this one, folks, at best. Dethstroke took on LOBO recently. Fucking Lobo!)
While Deadpoool can take him because he's Joker-insane with a healing factor that is SLIGHTLY faster than Wolverine's (these days the yare both insanely fast, Hulk being the only one who beats them), he is unpredictable and can't die

There probably will be. I wonder if next-gen they'll cut back on those, though. I have the feeling it cuts into sales of the new game when it first comes out.

At, first I hated the new voice actors. But upon hearing it more and more...I realize the likeness to Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. Starting to like it now.
This game is a prequel, it's centers around the earlier years of Batman's career as a crime fighter. At this time, his reputation isn't well known, a lot of the citizens in Gotham City don't trust him, even the police would try to arrest him on sight.
I thought I would be dissapointed with a new Joker VA, but wrong wrong WRONG!!!! He is so perfect at making his Joker interpretation sound like a younger version Mark Hamils. Never thought Id see the day.
