@MerryFrankster I am rebuilding a set of LSD E153 axles, is the Rzeppa joint not made to be disassembled?
Fortunately it's moves very freely, but I felt like should remove the cage and ball bearings to get it fully cleaned.

The rzeppa joint is the outer joint. The inner joint is a cross-groove joint. Obviously the inner joint comes apart easily. For the outer joint, the shaft is held in to the race by a circlip - similar how the other end of the shaft is locked into the differential. It can be popped out. Then the joint comes apart. For reassembly the joint is popped back in. Be careful with the orientation of the cage and the race. Or you can just soak the whole thing in kerosene or diesel, without disassembling.

Thanks for this video, Frank. Why did you use different grease? Is it better than the OEM grease?

It is a racing formulation that boasts better high-temperature resistance to degradation.

They are sold by Toyota. The boots are also available in after-market from Beck-Arnley and other companies, but the gasket is available only from Toyota I think . The Beck Arnely boots are a good quality product, much better price than OE.

The part number from Toyota is difficult to find in the catalog, but it is the same as the Supra axle.
