- After obtaining a Mystery Box from transferring a Pokemon to Pokemon Home, we have ourselves the chance to catch Shiny Meltan as it spawns for an hour after using the Mystery Box in Pokemon Go. This was how it went for me during this Let’s GO event.

On a side note, PvP is super tough... Got to Ace but climbing Elo is incredibly painful as it is difficult to maintain win-loss ratio.
first ditto i caught was a shiny. Pretty normal but it was 69 cp. So not normal anymore.
You don’t have to walk with Meltan box, it will have the same effectivness if you walk or if your are at home in a bed😅
Yeah, I walked one day and zero shinies, I stayed home another day and still zero shinies, Same effectiveness lol

@@TheLastSpicyRamen normally you can open box every 3 days (but meltan is shiny locked). during this event you can do it every 2 days (meltan shiny unlocked)

I open the box for meltan every 3 days and one day I was down the shower in the morning drinking coffee and open the box and the shiny ✨ meltan was the first one to spawn didn’t release that only once and a while it’s not shiny locked I just wish it had better iv

Did they reduce the spawn rate? They used to spawn 5-8 at a time now I was only getting one and not one shiny or xxs/xxl.

I caught two, but the other disappeared from my storage... Niantic swears up and down they never delete pokemon, but with how glitchy this game is I doubt it.
