Aussie here.That was vey helpfull,I own 2 of these Golfs,both are diesel engined.I car car is very solid but with some damage to the front.I might have to replace that very same panel.The other Golf I will use it for spares as parts are gettng harder to get.I'm not doing a full restoration,just enough to put her back on the road.I love these little cars,they are so simple to work on and have fantastic mileage.53 miles for a gallon,4.5 lts,for fuel consumpton.
