Thanks for the update on the screen. I put one on mine and am happy enough with it. No buffeting but it did increase the noise level, nothing too bad. If its an all day ride put your ear plugs in. Seat looks comfy but not a fan of the yellow. Keep up the videos, thanks.
I thought I saw Karl's DR for sale a few months back. Glad to see it is still in the mix and on the channel. The seat looks great and also good info on the windscreen. I've considered taking my screen off to see how the buffeting changes. You two have convinced me to try it 👍🏽
LOL, he does have it listed on market place, he changes bikes every so often. However he seems to be re-focusing on the DR so who knows. Thank you for the comment Dino
Hi Dino and Karl! Good to see you guys together again!😁 And the seat looks great! For people having a hard time finding good fitting motorcycle gear. We have really positive experience with bringing it to a local tailor to get it fitted (cheaper than you might think). Also.. how is Karls re-threaded oil plug doing? Asking for a friend😅😖 (Don't worry Emma's DR is OK😆) 🙋♂️🙋
Great tip on the tailor for sure!!! Karl's oil lug is holding fine, we have done a few oil changes since then and no issues. Thank you for your comment, cant wait to see more DR on your channel. Dino😀
I bought the Parabellum and the wind "turbulence" is awful. I drilled 2 holes in windshield to not make it so upright. That helped quite a bit. As other comments stated, the Parabellum gave me a headache as my head vibrated in the turbulence. FYI, I'm 6 feet tall. The little stock windscreen deflected all the bugs right to my throat area. That's why I need a different wind shield. Looking at the Madstad. It's adjustable, but also pricey.
Great feedback, getting just the right windscreen is a hard thing as everyone is different sizes. The information you provided will help others for sure. Thank you again Dino
The seat concepts are a fantastic seat. They will take your old torn and clapped out seat on trade and give you a bran new seat for $300 Canadian. That yellow looks sharp.
I put a parabellum windshield on my DR but only had it on for about 3 rides, I found that the wind buffeting was annoying, it gave me a headache. It was bad enough that my head was getting bounced around at 100kph so I took it back off and now I just deal with the wind blast... I don't know if that is normal or not? I need to make some extensions to possibly make it a little higher and see if that helps. Carl's seat looks great, that shop did a great job and hard to argue with the price.
Hey, there's Carl! Great vid guys... Curious about the seat... Did they use memory foam? Different density layers? It looks kinda "crowned" on the top... Can't wait to hear some feedback on longer rides. 👍🏻
Thank you Eric, I believe they used different foam densities but am not sure about the memory foam, Karl wanted a softer foam on the top so I think that is why it is crowned. I am looking forward to the long term review as well. Dino
I've got a Parabellum on my DR and like all screens it buffeted. I had one of those bolt on screen extensions lying around but instead of bolting it directly to the top of the screen for exta height I reversed it and put it at the front of the screen ( facing downward ) and created a vortex effect which greatly reduced the buffetting. Pity we can't post a photo, it would be easier to explain.
Great idea , I had my seat re-done by a local upholstery shop, made a big difference to my riding comfort, saved some cash as well , cheers .
Thank you for the feedback
Dino
The seat looks great. I never thought of getting it upholstered. Thanks for sharing.
No problem 👍
Dino
The new seat cover looks great. Certainly worth looking at this option. Thanks!
Thanks, the more I look at it, the more I think this may be the route I go as well.

Thank you Lisa, maybe I should do a bike ride/ salmon fishing video some time. Know anyone who is an expert angler? LOL
Dino
Nice looking seat! Like how you raised that screen looks good.
Thanks Dan, I will be interested to see how Karl likes it.

Interesting, I would like to see a pic. I think I understand what you are saying but seeing it would help
@@DinosTinkerShed I've sent you an email with some photos...hopefully😂.
@@coobye I'll check it out, thank you
@@DinosTinkerShed Did the photos come through Dino?.
@coobye they did, thank you for sending. Interesting idea for sure. If I have issues with the new windscreen I'll have to try this.
I have the same problem with the parabellum. At 5'8" it creates a lot of wind buffeting
$450 id grab 2. Hey dino here in australia the same thing is $700
I think I made a mistake, the seat kit is $400 the entire seat is $550. still a fair bit less than $700. Thank you for the comment.
