    Sam's done commission work for me and I've been amazed at what he can accomplish. His colour theory, blending and application is second to none. Great to see him sharing some wisdom on his techniques!

    Wow. I am new to painting, but he is right that a quickly painted mini looks will much better. Thanks Atom. I need to get my army done.

      +Trevor Phillip Yes, even quickly painted zombies (using some spraycan or airbrush and some simple washes) will look a lot nicer than unpainted plastic. Thanks for watching!

    I've tried my amateur hand at painting a few of the Zombicide abominations, and I've used Blood for the Blood God by Citadel, which I've found works really well. Dries deep red, nice and glossy.

    I painted all my zombicide figures "not to this level of quality of course" and it was a real pain. I was so glad after finishing the 300+ zombies. i vowed to never buy anymore expansions.

    Awesome video, but where did the paper debris on the bases come from? I really liked that little detail, like papers blowing around an empty street. Very nice add.

    Well Uncle Atom that did introduce wet blending lol I was hoping for something more technical. Like blend the Miniature first or in the wet pallet then apply? Otherwise great for zombie flesh

    the title of this video should be "how to paint zombicide zombies". anytime the word wet blending is used you can forget about anything being quick.

    Why is he licking his paint brushes?

    • @Kojak0
      @Kojak0 8 років тому +1

      +Stormbreaker69 To form the tip of the brush - I read about it myself in a modelling book years ago that in order to maintain a sharp tip on the brush, the lips are perfect for that - and yes, I do it too. You should obviously not have any paint on the brush when you do it, but after having cleaned the brush, it will loose its shape slightly, but a quick pull through the lips shapes the brush up again nicely.
