Cricuting up some Fancy Faux Leather Head Bands Part 1

Today, we are going to create some super cute hair bands. A little bit of Cricut, a little bit leather, and a WHOLE lot of imagination!!! 😊 I am starting off with some ready-made head bands and then letting my imagination come up with some sweet little creations! They were a bit of a challenge, but boy, they did turn out super cute! Next week we will tackle the remaining head bands! 😊
Items needed for the project:
• Hair bands
• Ribbon
• Faux Leather
• Scissors
• Hot glue and hot glue gun
• Cricut cutting machine, Cricut Design Space, Cricut cutting mats, and Cricut tools
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Design and layout the faux leather onto the Cricut cutting mats
• Cut the bow pieces using Cricut (or trace and cut by hand)
• Using hot glue, assemble each layer of the bows
• Glues layers of bows together
• Using hot glue, glue ribbon to the head band base
• Using hot glue, attach the bow to the head band base
• Using hot glue, secure bow to base with coordinating ribbon around the center of the bow
• Using hot glue apply final faux leather center piece around middle of bow and around head band
• Allow to cool/dry thoroughly
