Corrections:
In the video I say that Illa Da Producer also produced "Rap Devil", but it was actually produced by "Ronny J" who produced "Not Alike" too. So the fact he produced "Not Alike" made me make the mixed up! Thanks to Jay Green for pointing that out ;)

An overlooked punchline:

1. Stan was a major fan of shady.

I never counted MGK's last line about Kim at all because 1. Eminem is no longer with her and 2. Eminem has dissed Kim worse than any other rapper ever will. Anything MGK has to say about Kim has already been said by Eminem.

That is one reason I consider Rap Devil a good song to listen to, but not a good diss song overall. Eminem has been out almost 2 decades, he has a bunch of albums, tons of songs, and a lot of shit in the news. MGK had a whole lot to draw from when going after Eminem, yet his diss track boiled down to your old/you dress bad/your a GOAT. Eminem should have had a harder time because MGK doesn't have as much to draw from.

In my case, it is the first time I see his channel and it was because it came out in my recommendations. I had never before been interested in breakdown, I only enjoyed music and lyrics 😝 Now I would like to have known this earlier, but not everything can be done and I'm happy to be part of it now. I said when Killshot dropped that MGKs diss was good, but it was for the casual listener. You can listen to Killshot multiple times and hear different meanings and wordplays. Em makes music for those who like lyrics, Kells drops tracks to entertain everyone. I enjoyed both, but Killshot was so beyond Rap Devil in terms of substance and lyrics.

I've always been a huge Eminem fan, he's always been my favorite rapper. No one can compete with em when it comes to word play. I knew em spit lines with complexity but I didn't realize they were so complex. After watching this video my respect for Eminem's word play just went through the roof.
