Michael's solo on Spherical is in my top 5 solos of all time all instruments all music.
That’s one of my favorites, too. Discovering Return of the Brecker Brothers while in high school was such a revelation. Trumpet-playing me at the time could not have imagined that 25 years later I’d end up playing EWI, of all things. Thanks for everything, Mike Brecker! 😁
I was just listening to Michael Brecker on the Frank Zappa album track called The Purple Lagoon. I love his solo on that track. Also, there is a UA-cam channel called Sharp#11 run by young lad from Holland coincidentally who is obsessed with Michael Brecker solos. Great video chaps. Many thanks!
