I’m glad somebody already posted a video about this board. I think it’s banging! I disagree about the wheels, I think they’re great as well as yours! Everything has its purpose! I did replace the trucks, I order the C7’s but I ended up putting my old CX’s on and sprayed painted them. The flex is a really cool feature. I tried smaller wheels (60mm) with 1/8” raiser pads and I notice I had to “flex” the board harder to generate more pump. So I went back to the two stock raiser pads stacked up and the 65 mm slicks and boy that thing flies!! Put the C7’s on my old o’brien board which worked great too. I think this board even though has a “short wheel base” rips really nice on concrete banks and asphalt. Still haven’t hit the bowl but I can’t wait to do so!
Been scouting the web for a decent in-depth review of this board for almost half a year, and was starting to despair. Just wasn't seeing anything that gave me the lowdown, yet the board always seemed to be sold out (it's currently not available on the carver site after a re release). You answered all my questions, and saved me from some unnecessary hassles: I'm 6 foot 3 inches, but I prefer a narrower stance--board should work well. I'm 185 pounds, and was definitely going to replace the stock bushings, but it appears they will work just fine as is. Was concerned the wheels might be too slick, but they sound like, for me, they're perfect. It appears a complete setup will give me everything I want with no need (or least minimal need) for customization. Now for the hardest part... convincing the Missus I need another board, and of course, finding the freaking thing in stock xD Thank you again for this review :D
I've been enjoying my Ghostnet a lot. Only change I made to mine was changing the wheels to your 70mm ones. Funny thing is that I didn't really like my C5 setup stock, but when I put the 65mm wheels from the Ghostnet on it, that ride improved too.
I have one and I love it, in cx (I also have a yago in C7 which it complements very well and which is more beautiful, but I prefer the Ghosnet, now, more nervous and faster, in fact. I'll have to try the yago with the CX, to see...). Thank you for your video.
I have the ghost net with the quick truck system so have use the board long distance rides 25 miles or more with c7 and cx both set of trucks like he said it's like a bike stuck in 1st gear but still rides 5 to 6 mph and the front catches your foot when u pump up hill so I like the nose for that reason
I would love carver to come out with some more shapes with this material, I use it with paris v3 150's and it is great for control and easy on the knees and recovery
Check out Lander, I have the Rio and not only is it the same material, it is molded like a fishnet so you can see through it and it represents what it came from. It is extremely ridgid, don’t let the look fool you.
Great review as always! Why is the front truck in the thumbnail so similar to waterborne, while there is another one in the video? Is it a mod or just a thumbnail mishap?
Finally ! i was waiting for someone to review this board !! Thank you
The flexibility of this board is amazing. Thanks 4 sharing

Long time no see, nice to meet you again.
Now I'll be waiting for a longer board as well

I would love to see how this does at the pump track. My waterborne build is super heavy.

*Nice compact board*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
I think this is the first Surfskate really designed for Tricks as well.
So this would be an ideal board to have in the car trunk to carry everywhere, even in humid or cold weather and not have the board get warped?
Yep! It's pretty much indestructible.
Which skatepark is laura at? That place looks brilliant.
I don't think you understand what "slicks" mean in the context of wheels/tires. Slicks are supposed to be grippy. Anyway, great video as always.
Slicks are a blast from the past bruv
