The colors I am swatching are:
Bismuth Yellow, Quinacridone Gold Hue, Raspberry Red, Ocean Blue, Ultramarine Pink, Shadow Grey, Aquarius Violet, Autumn Green, Perylene Green Deep and Hematite.

Hi Lily, I have almost all of the Michael Harding watercolours and, while I think they are very good quality, they aren’t that exciting. They are a bit like W&N in that they are highly pigmented and paint out extremely well but, they lack the wow factor of Roman Szmal or Deep Deep Light etc. I’d love to see the Stoneground Paint Co colours swatched out!! My poor bank account is already quivering and sobbing in the corner! 💚❤️🩵💜💙🧡💛🩷

My bank account is quivering and sobbing too! But it's so much fun painting with these lovely paints. I'm grateful to see your take on MH watercolours... I've been on the fence about ordering them. I love Roman Szmal. I need to add the Aquarius violet and ultramarine pink to my pallet. The ocean blue is fun to play with. If you get a chance, try it wet on wet and watch it dance. I don't use phthalos much either, but it is a fun color to move around in water.
I got Michael Harding last year as a present….they are lovely, very pigmented. I haven’t found myself as excited by them either, though I’m very excited we have a fabulous paint master for watercolour in the UK again. One thing I found was MH paints are highly pigmented, I filled one of those tiny art toolkit look-a-like palettes and used it quite a bit and barely made a dent in the colours. I would love to see the Stoneground paints too, but really I will enjoy whichever you choose to swatch. I love your swatching videos, they’re very relaxing and useful. I’m impressed with the Baohong paper too!

I am waiting for my RS set ordered from Jackson's Art. I made a promise that these will be the last watercolors I'd buy. ❤ Spent so many sleepless nights contemplating on my purchase before i finally placed the order. 😅

I love watching your swatching videos . The colours and granulation show up really well.
I often wonder what you do with all the pans, half pans and tubes you have once things have been swatched? Do you have different pallets? How do you set these up? Do they have specific uses? It's nice seeing all the swatching as I get ideas of which paints I like but I do so wonder what happens in the days when you don't swatch. I see the art on the front of the video and they look so fascinating. 😊

That ultramarine pink is just lovely. My brain is craving lovely spring colours on this grey, cold, Canadian morning. I would love to see the Stoneground paints, please! Roman Szmal is very expensive in Canada (at least where I live), but I have been eyeing Stoneground for a while and wondering about them. If they are nice, I would like to support a Canadian company.

I was so excited to see this video pop up and I saved it for the weekend, which was perfect. A sunny day and a full moon at night with these lovely colors. I have most of these , but still was in awe as you swatched them out. I would love to see Michael Harding swatched out. I have a few and they are beautiful and have an amazing pigment load. quin gold is now more like a quin orange :\ luckily I managed to get a few pans but when I went back to the art store (it's a wee bit out of the way) they were all sold out. absolutely loving the roman szmals. I hope you'll do some paint-along-with-me videos with your paint collection >u
I love RS! They never disappoint. I need the ultramarine pink! Personally I was disappointed in the Michael Harding. Very expensive in Canada and they just underwhelmed. And being Canadian I vote for Stone Ground for sure :)
if you do another roman szmal swatching video can you also add in the number codes? depending on the promo material/packaging/sets they don't have the name just pigments and number, and it's easier to shop by number

Would love to know if the MIchael Harding watercolor is worth my left kidney. From what I've seen, it's lovely, but is the cost worth it? Thank you for your lovely videos and beautiful swatches. Most of my watercolors are Roman Szmal, so it's hard to pick a favorite, but I'm pretty infatuated with their Cobalt Violet Light (PV49) and their Isoindolinone Yellow Deep (PY110) is my go-to warm yellow. But that's just on the tip of my brain. Good job on the Shadow Grey, that might be my favorite neutral tint out there.🥰
And also RS Cobalt Teal (PG50) is one of THE BEST of its kind (as someone who obsessively acquires PG50 teals) 🤣!!!
