Yeah, the 6S is definitely in my top 10. It's my so-called “cruise control” razor for the days where I want a smooth and comfortable shave despite not paying attention and having a million things running in my head.
Hi Kevy, thanks for sharing. I tried my first shave today with the 6S, I used plate 4 and 2, smooth as butter, no nicks or scrapes, absolutely no skin irritation afterwards. I used the Rockwell razors that were offered. I'm 56 years old, used cartridges all my life, this is my 4th Safety Razor shave, the first 3 were from the Henson M. I believe the 6S has taken over rotation. My first stroke with 6S was jaw dropping, I heard it working but I didn't feel a dam thing, and all this mass of whiskers gone. Highly recommend.
Good evening Kevy! Great list. Some of those razors are not very well known, so thanks for the introductions/reminders. My list: 1. Muhle Rocca R95 V4 (smoothest shaving with above average efficiency) 2. Rex Ambassador (Most efficient. smoother on the lower settings) 3. Rex Envoy (decent balance of smoothness and efficiency) 4. Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 all stainless (should be ranked higher, but for the blade clamping not rigid/blade chatter ATG. Can cause weeper) 5. Above The Tie M2 Atlas (efficient yet rough. Leaves face full of weepers) The only true disappointment in the bunch is the ATT M2. I want to like this razor. It is well built and a classic design. Best for WTG and XTG passes.
My favourite is Razorock Wunderbar - I have a coarse beard and found that slants work the best for me. This slant is extremely efficient, maybe too aggressive for some, but combined with a smooth blade it's by far my #1 razor!
Great list. I don’t have a stainless steel DE razor in my possession yet, but I’m likely gonna go with the Razorock GC .84 for the price and performance
The Scottish Steve Martin delivers again! Thank you, Kevy. I'm new to all of this and obsessively researching DE safety razors at the moment. Had never heard of RazoRock before this video-- exactly why I watch these videos. I always learn something. Cheers from Philadelphia.
Rockwell 6S or Feather ASD2 for me, in the SS category. Closely followed by the Hawk v3. I had a Game changer .84 but the shaves were too aggressive and inconsistent, so it was sold. I'm looking forward to some more Kevy's favourites!
I had actually made a list of 6 that I thought would make yours before viewing the video. Well, I did get 3 correct, (Rockwell 6S, Game Changer and Executive Outlaw) with the few others not expected. My favorites are Karve, Game Changer, Rockwell 6S, Rex Ambassador, and Homelike Colibri. Would like to try the others you chose certainly.
Fantastic. Thanks. Interesting that you include Razorock (and mid tier too); surprising that neither Rex nor Blackland are amongst your top favourites.
Rockwell 6S gets you my vote too. Something about its geometry - beautiful and smooth shave with any blade !! Great selection.. PAA SS Ascension doc, karve, Dart Timeless OC and the ATT R1 absolutely rock when I am not using my Gem junior or ever ready 1924 !! :D
Some great choices there Kevy, I have the 6S which is one of my favorite raisers. Although, lately I have been using the Karve in brass with the D plate. I was absolutely blown away by it, and at this time, I do not know which is the better shaver.
Hi Kevy! I make all of my online purchases off of Amazon. I was hoping to find some of your top 6 Stainless Steel Razors listed there, but, alas, it was not to be. My favorite Double edged razor is the Feather ASD2. To be honest, I don't know why I keep looking at other razors. This one checks all of the boxes. I think it might be better for me to learn to be thankful for what I have. (Easier said than done!) I am glad that you have these razors in your collection and hope they provide you a lifetime of enjoyable shaves!
Thankyou for another one of your "Top 6" rankings. I own two of them, the GameChanger and the Outlaw and I fully agree with your views. Rockwell I own in Chrome, but even that is a great one. Looking forward to more ranking videos from you, but also your Kevy Shaves.
Hi Kevy- Great Top Six Stainless Steel Razors video; thank you! What a nice list. We have two razors from this list in common, the Carbon Shaving Co., razor and the Rockwell 6S. Both are mainstays in my shaving rotation and are just great to use. Well, I hope your week is off to a great start. Take good care and be safe and be well. All the best, Kevy.
Hey Kevy...I just started DE shaving Christmas with a Karve CB bass. Great razor. Wanted to expand my horizons and acquire a RazoRock Gamechanger; however, SOLD OUT. The pandemic has been extremely hard on most small businesses around the world. Most Wet Shaving small businesses have done well. Go figure.
I love my Rockwell 6S. I have tried many different blades and they all give excellent, smooth shaves. The only way to improve the 6S would be to make it out of titanium and have 6 plates and not 3.
When I experiment and I buy a pack of sharp razors (relative to my skin of course); I can always rely on my Rockwell 6S and change the setting to a 1 or 2....and then I can comfortably proceed to use up them sharp razors since at this forgiving setting my skin still survives the shave without any burns and nicks :-)
I agree that there is just something about Rockwell 6 razors that give a comfortable shave regardless of gap chosen. For “beauty” I really like the black handle and cap with red baseplate. Clearly a personal aesthetic thing there. I would add another razor I truly love: RazoRock BBS. It’s incredibly smooth and non-irritating to skin even with Nacet or Feather. Shallow shaving angle because of the 60 degree bend of the blade which also snugs the blade in tight. With Executive Shaving Outlaw handle like one you showed it’s a stunner to my eye. The RazoRock Baby Smooth is same razor in Aluminum for those who prefer a lighter weight (and less expensive) option although the BBS is still quite affordable. Maybe because I shaved for many years with Schick injectors I still have days I prefer a lighter razor. This is true especially when shaving my neck upward since weight there is no help and in fact the lighter razors don’t need as much knurling as the heavier ones do. The later points I have heard only a few remark upon. Kevin, what’s your take on my later points? Have you tried the BBS? I have RazoRock Game Changer (.68) and Lupo (SS and Aluminum versions) too and while these are very good razors I still find myself coming back to and preferring the BBS and BabySmooth. Again I’d be interested in your take on the BBS especially with Nacet or even Feather blade. I do prefer the relative lack of blade feel and chatter in the BBS and I’m not “macho” about aggressive razors because I shave almost every day and I’ve got sensitive skin - especially on my neck - as many do. I’d rather as you’ve pointed out make one more pass with milder razor than go for broke (and blood and burn) with an overly aggressive first pass. Again, I’ve heard you say similar things but would be interested in any updated opinions you might have. Always enjoy your videos!
I agree with you. I enjoy a milder razor with a sharp blade over an aggressive razor. Ive not tried the BBS. I do own the aluminium Lupo and I really enjoy that. Im not too fussed about the weight of razors although something really light, like an aluminium Tech can sometimes force me into applying too much pressure on the razor. I do like a razor that has great balance, like the Outlaw razor. Cheers. Kevy 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 Thanks so much for your reply. I agree on all your points. I’d really like to know what you think of BBS/Baby Smooth. I would say similar in aluminum to Lupo only better. I sometimes put Russian military two-part aluminum handle on the aluminum Lupo for a really cool and light travel razor. (I throw the plastic heads of these away ;-) I can’t spare a Stainless Steel BBS but would be happy to sent you an aluminum Baby Smooth for your thoughts. My email is mvendrel@gmail.com Send me your shipping address and I’ll send the aluminum Baby Smooth off to you. The extra new one I have is in Blue because they’ve been out of natural aluminum (silver) and black as of late. I sometimes put another longer handle on these but there is a limitation in that the under aspect of the baseplate has indent for smallish top of handle so any handle with larger top won’t work unless one was to use rigid washer - a bit much for me. The Russian two-part handle does fit on the Baby Smooth though. . . I’ll include one of those for you.
@@kevyshaves4109 p.s. I actually prefer the aluminum Lupo to the SS one in looks and feel. My favorite handle for balance on this is aluminum from Henson’s Shaving razor. I think you would get my trend toward matching heads with other handles to get the feel and weight and length and looks that float my boat ;/)
Thanks for that kevvy, reading through the comments it goes to show how subjective this all is. I really love a number of razors, but its not just based on the shave; the look and feel comes into it as well as my face response on a particular day. I'm please you didn't choose of the the most expensive as your favourite!
Great Video showing all the different Stainless steel razors, I just bought the Razorock 2nd generation Lupo .72 recently, seems to check all my boxes for a excellent razor, some say the Lupo.95 is a little more efficient than the lupo 72?? If your into DE stainless razors and like a excellent mid range it should give most a excellent shave, I find it a carefree high efficentcy shave & nice mid range comfort. #1Razorock SS Lupo 2nd Gen .72- mid range, easy going shave with excellent shave results. #2 Razorock SS Wunderbar slant - mid upper range, light touch gives excellent shave results. #3 Razorock SS Game changer .84 milder mid range, easy going shave with a Kai SS blade gives excellent results. Have some great shaves!
Get Kevy great list 👍 I am still waiting on ss lupo to arrive hopefully it will a new number 1. I agree though after so many expensive razors bought and sold my Rockwell 6s is my go to. Not sure what it is they just nailed it.
I agree Kevy with your #1 choice! I too can not find a better (most efficient and most comfortable at the same time) shaving tool...I've tried to find better, but the 6s is by far, for me, the best! Cheers!
Nice to see your top 6 stainless. All good razors. Among the 6, I have only the Game Changer.08 SB, the only SS I can afford....and yeah...it shave well.
RazoRock SS Lupo v2, RazoRock gameChanger, Edwin Jagger 3one6, Gillette Old Type Single ring, Rockwell 6S, Blackland blackbird, (honorific mention DOC Ascension); in no particular order. Love them all 👍🏻
Hey Kevy! Thank you for this cool and educational presentation. Like always when I watch a video by you, I again learned something new. Never knew about Smart Helix razors. I had a Feather AS-D2 but never quite could connect to it. I liked the look and feel of it very much but the shaves were disappointing, no matter the blade. Maybe I practiced to little with it. So now I only have left my 6s which they'll have to take from my cold, dead hands. Best razor in the world!!! Hopefully it goes unnoticed that I'm a total fanboy. 🤣🤣🤣 Have a great week and happy shaves to everyone! P.S.: Regarding the ongoing discussion whether it is adjustable or interchangeable, I'd say, the plates are interchangeable but the razor is adjustable (to your needs). 😉
Really nice review Kevy. The only one of these shavers that I have is the Gamechanger . 84. It's marvellous. Id also like to give a mention to another stainless steel Razo Rock, the 37 Slant. For the money and its under half the cost of the Gamechanger, its an amazing shaver!
@Apostolos K Pretty similar in my opinion, however depending on the blade used, the Rocca can be a touch more aggressive. I have used Feather blades in both razors and found the Rocca more efficient and less comfortable. As I always say though, everyone is different - YMMV👍
@@MrGShave I find the same!! The 3one6 is smoother than my Rocca. Although I tried a Personna platinum chrome blade in my 3one6 and I got terrible razor burn under my chin. The Alum block after was agony after!! 😂😂. Dave.
@@MrGShave Just curious on the Rocca version you have. I have a version 4 that shave like a dream; best combination of smooth and efficient. I heard and read that versions 1-3 are not as comfortable. As always, YMMV
Love the 6s- one of my go to blade holders! Super smooth on plates 3 and 4. Only criticism is that it’s tough to reach hair under nose. The razorock mamba 53 stainless shaves identically for me as the 6s on said plates. A wolfman in disguise. If you haven’t tried it you should. I think you would rate it.
Got the Rockwell 6 s and ESC outlaw mild razor both fantastic 🪒💈👍 went back to my first de razor today Edwin jagger de89l ok shave but my god Rockwell and the ESC are faultless imo 👌
Great razors Kevy! The Carbon is gorgeous! I too am a big fan of the Gamechanger. If you can get your hands on one, you have to try the Wolfman WR2 in 1.25 blade gap. It’s as smooth as Gamechanger but more efficient. Cheers!
The 6S is definitely deserving of the top spot as it is really 6 different razors (5 if you don't count R1) that will handle different needs. Cost also makes it one of the best, I'd say even better then the Game Changer if you consider that it is 5 different razors. My personal favorites Stainless Steel razors at the moment are in no particular order, the Tatara Nodachi / Tatara Nodachi with Masamune Top cap, PAA Meta4 and the Rockwell 6S. I am thinking of the Taiga but am waiting to see if they will do a version 2 with a better handle with a thicker and grippier knurling. (they actually are now selling a v1.5 with a shorter handle compared to the original release)
Hi Kevy when I purchased my Outlaw from executive shaving I was told it was made in Hong Kong by Alpha Shaving I would be very happy if it is made in Scotland.
I really like the Rockwell 6s. Great razor. When I want a shave that I don't have to concentrate on the shave, I go for the Rockwell. Also if I'm going out and don't want to cut myself or have weepers to deal with, I grab the 6s. I've been thinking about the Rex Ambassador, but I'm not sure yet 🤔 Have a good one Kevy! Steve
Hi Kevy, the Rockwell 6s is also my fav (mostly with plate 5), I miss the Tatara Nodachi razor and the Rex Ambassador. I'm thinking to buy the Rex or the Exec Shaving with both plates. Maybe now I can make my purchase at Exec Shaving Co. Could you give a hint why the Rex Ambassador is not in your Top 6? That would help me ;). Most important is a lot of thanks and compliments for your video's. You have guided me the last years to excellent shaving with nice gear, soaps, pre&after shaves, brushes. So keep on doing this and stay healthy, our most important good! Greets from Belgium.
The Rex is quite aggressive for me, even on the lower settings. It takes a while to find the right blade for it too. Some blades give a rough shave in the Rex. It's a beautiful razor, but it's not my favourite by a long way. Kevy 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 Hi Kevy, thanks for your comment. That was exactly what I had in mind when I see the blade gap table. So the max setting for me shall come on 3 and that's to low for an adjustable I think. So I will go for the ESC Outlaw with the mild plate first. Ser :)
The Outlaw isn't made in Scotland 😉 They are made in Hong Kong IIRC by Alpha Shaving. Nice list, can't argue with the 6s or Gamechanger. You should try a Timeless SS if you get the chance 👍
And Brian at Executive Shaving in your homeland is a prince of a guy. I know him by correspondence and always enjoy our chats about whatever from global politics to music - not to mention shaving! His stance on eschewing the cruelty of badger hair brushes I also respect.
Got to agree with Rockwell I got the 6C excellent shave. The only thing I have found is next day my stubble is longer than if I’ve shaved with other razors. Maybe it’s just me 😀🤣
@@kevyshaves4109 I have heard this a lot from people. The Ambassador is not good with lots of blades. For this reason I bought the Envoy. Just this minute finished shaving with it. 7 o' clock yellow blade. Great shave! I have had no problems with Nacet & Treet blades also. Dave.
I have rockwell 6C gunfinish very nice with base number 2, regards, after having 17 razors in my den I am not going to buy more , I am too old haha , am not going to be able to use all of them
I own 4 out of your six, but would have Outlaw #2, Rockwell 6S #3, Carbon #4, and Gamechanger .84 as maybe #6. My clear #1 is Wolfman WR2 razor 1.05 SB and my #5 is Haircut & Shave Black T. Razorock Lupo is in running for #6 with GC.
Love the design on the Outlaw, pricey from what I remember but don't think I've heard a bad word about it. Had a feeling you'd go for the 6S, especially with all the coloured versions you own lol.
Hi Kevy, out of my more than 25 stainless steel razors the Razorock Lupo SS DLC (first version, out of production) is on par with the Tatara Masamune. From my perspective the shave quality is not necessarily linked to the cost of the razor. As you mentioned it‘s all about personal preference.
Hallo, Kevy. Which razor would you put in the first place, executive outlaw mild (gap 0,56) or alpha outlaw mild (gap 0,52)? Are there any differences between them according to your feelings? How do these razors relate in terms of aggressiveness/effectiveness to edwin jagger de89?
The Executive shaving Outlaw and thr Alpha outlaw ate the exact same razors. Only the name on them is different. I have both and i can't tell the difference. I prefer the mild plate. They are a lot smoother and shave a little bit closer than a DE89. Cheers. Kevy 🙂👍
Hi kevy thanks for the video 👍 my favourite so far is the 6C on R5/R6 efficient and smooth but I'd like to try something new I've been eying the Karve CB with a C or D plate and the Razorock lupo SB 72 or 95 which one would you prefer thx in advance
Interesting razors, nice to see such a range I did not know existed. I’ve just ordered an Edwin Jagger 3One6 stainless steel DE razor, with a knurled handle. Have you tried this and if so, what are your views please.
Another great video Kevy!! My top 6 would be.... 1. Rockwell 6s. 2. Outlaw. 3. Envoy. 4. 3one6 all stainless. 5. AS-D2. 6. Mulhe Rocca. I'm probably going to buy the mild Outlaw with the spiffy new handle. I only have 19 razors so I'm a rank amateur. Take care buddy and my best to the family. Stay safe!! Dave.
I'm looking to get a SS razor and hesitating between Envoy and Outlaw... I thought the Envoy would win hands down but the outlaw is at the top in almost every list... Can I ask you what makes the outlaw better than Envoy?
@@lucapnz2980 Hi Luca, I have just this minute shaved with the Envoy. 7 o' clock yellow blade. Great shave. The quality of the Outlaw and the Envoy is about the same. The outlaw is longer which a lot of people prefer. The Envoy is exactly the same length as the 34c. I shave a lot more carefully with the Envoy as it looks and feels like a surgical instrument straight out of Harley St. There is not a lot of audible feedback from it. The Outlaw has very loud feedback and on first use you think "My God, this is aggressive!!" Then you realise that the razor is gliding very smoothly over your face and getting close but you don't feel like its going to bite you. With the Envoy I always think that it could bite me really easily. This sounds silly but the Envoy razor "feels" mega sharp. Also you now have the choice of heads for the Outlaw. Mild and more aggressive. Both though give that great audible feedback! The mild plate is around a plate 3 on a Rockwell, or an EJD89, Mulhe R89 or Merkur 34c. The more aggressive Outlaw head is around plate 5 on a Rockwell. The Outlaw and Envoy are both great razors. Kevy shaves no1 non adjustable is the Outlaw. Everyone's skin is different but let's face it.....kevy knows his razors!! It is also my favourite non adjustable too! Dave.
@@davesheppard8797 thank you Dave for the detailed answer! Interesting, it sounds like both give very close shaves but the outlaw is more forgiving... I shave every 2/3 days and I like razors where you feel the blade but there's still "room for error", so the outlaw might be better. Regular or mild? That it the question... Does the regular have a little more bite than 34C/EJ89 but with similar comfort?
@@lucapnz2980 I only ordered the mild today! 😁. The standard Outlaw is more aggressive than an R89, De89, and 34c. I would buy the standard Outlaw as it is a mid aggressive razor but smooth. The Envoy and Outlaw are about the same level of aggression but the Outlaw, as I said is smoother. It is far from being a beginners razor. You have to be careful with the Outlaw too but it definitely has the edge over the Envoy, EJ 3one6, Muhle Rocca and Executive Shaving's Braveheart. Please feel free to ask any more questions, I am only too glad to help. Dave.
Your Smart Helix Apollo Light, which do you prefer the mild or aggressive baseplate? Please tell me why and if you can compare it to another razor I may know. Thanks
Hi Kevy, love your videos I am torn apart between *Rex Envoy* and the *Razorock Game Changer .84* cannot decide which one to buy between the above two razors. I don’t mind spending more for a quality product so the money isn’t the issue for me. I bought my first de safety razor Edwin Jagger DE89 a year ago and absolutely enjoying the wet shaving experience. I want to buy a stainless steel razor that will last a life time. I have a sensitive skin and shave every other day. Pls advise on this. In anticipation of your reply. Regards From Kathmandu, Nepal.
I've tried both the Gamechanger. 84 and the Rex Ambassador and if i had to choise one, it would be the Gamechanger. For me, it gave a much more comfortable shave compared to the Rex Ambassador. The Rex felt quite aggressive even on the lower settings. The Rex build quality is really nice but I don't think it's as good as the Gamechanger. Cheers. Kevy 🙂
@@kevyshaves4109 I’m always looking to “Buy American “ here Stateside. Havebeen eyeballing the 6S and Rex Ambassador . Leaning towards 6S as I like three-piece aka “no moving parts!!!” I have three vintage Gillette’s: NEW long comb, a Slim and a Fatboy. Of those I like, in order of preference, NEW, Slim and Fatboy. I prefer “mindless” shaves as well! Thanks for another great video from Beautiful Scotland! Be safe.
Wow Kevy !!!! It is interesting to see your top 6 now, Edwin Jagger does not appear in any position, now you are at a more advanced level you choose based on more issues such as balance, performance, I must admit that I like that, by the way my six safety razors: Mühle - Mühle - Mühle -Mühle R41 above all !!!! Lol 😂😂😂
Nice line up there Kevy. Was thinking I hadn’t seen the Helix Apollo for a while, looks really cool in my opinion. Was Tatara knocking on the door? Think I’m between a Tatara and a Timeless SS/Ti for my next razor...
If you want an excellent shave for minimal cost, time and effort try this: Q-Shave adjustable razor (Merkur clone for $20) and Creemo. Remember, a close nick free shave is 90% technique and 10% equipment.
Hi. Great video. I have a 6s which is great but I have a couple of questions. My 6s is a horrible grey colour. I've noticed recently that the newer ones seem to be a nicer, satin steel colour. Is this correct or is it just how they appear in photographs? Also, I've just sold a Rex Ambassador as it was far too aggressive for me. I use the no.4 plate on the 6s but I found even the no.1 setting on the Rex too agrressive. Would the Rex envoy be equally aggressive? Thanks
The Rex Envoy is said to be the same as setting 3 on the Rex Ambassador, so it might still be too aggressive for you Mike. I think the shiny 6S you talk about, might be the Rockwell 6C, which is made from chrome and is nice and shiny. The Rockwell 6S razors also come in red, blue, and black if you fancy those colours. The 6C is cheaper than the 6S because it's a chrome plated razor, but it shaves exactly the same as the stainless 6S version. I actually think the 6C glides over the skin better. Cheers. Kevy 👍🙂
@@kevyshaves4109 Thanks for reply. I agree that the Rex Envoy will be too aggressive. It's a shame as it's a beautifully made razor. I've discovered that the Rockwell 6s will seem to be different shades depending on the light when the the photo is taken. I'll just have to embrace the greyish colour. There is a guy who will polish and plate them for a very reasonable price (JJ Shaves) Or, I could keep mine and buy a 6c! This is a bit of a first-world problem!
@Kevy Shaves - Hi! Whats your opinion please I have a Edwin Jagger 3one6, however how does the Outlaw (normal aggressive head) compare? Is it worth me purchasing the outlaw? Will I notice the difference? I'm looking for a step up in aggressiveness and efficiency.

Rockwell 6S with either a Nacet or a 7o’clock black my favourite blade and razor combo by a Country mile.
All beautiful razors, but after trying a bunch so far I agree the Rockwell 6S is tops. Hope your week is going well! 🤙
Great review , I’m. more a vintage razor shaver and would love to see your top 6 vintage as well as your top 6 brushes and soaps
I don't have any of those. I've got the Ambassador, ATT H1, the Blackbird, and now the DSCosmetic Z0.
Those DS cosmetic razors look great! Kevy 👍
Got the R89 and R41 and Rocca from Mühle. All great. Best results with the R41 definetly. But also be most carefull with it.
My email is mvendrel@gmail.com
Send me your shipping address and I’ll send the aluminum Baby Smooth off to you.
You know I just love the 6s, and that's the 'problem'... It's perfect!😂
Get Kevy great list 👍
I am still waiting on ss lupo to arrive hopefully it will a new number 1.
Cheers!
Hi Kevy, nice ranking the first place and also the Game Changer .84 I have them too and they are really great razors. Have a nice day
Great collection there! Your No.1 is my No.1 too, with Pils 101 ;) First place for both.
Nice to see your top 6 stainless. All good razors. Among the 6, I have only the Game Changer.08 SB, the only SS I can afford....and yeah...it shave well.
Out of my two SS razors, the Feather with a Feather blade shaves best for me. The other one, the Edwin Jagger 3one6 is also very good.
nice razors, Kevy !! my Nr.1 is the EJ 3one6
Thanks looking for a new razor. This helps me choose.
Have a great week and happy shaves to everyone!
Very very nice video. rockwell 6s my favourite razor 🤩😍
I have the 6s. It’s my favourite as well.
Some beautiful razors there Kevy👍 My personal favourite is the EJ 3one6.

@@MrGShave I left how to do this and provided a link...UA-cam might have deleted, as it is no longer here.
Nice list of razors but I am missing the Rex Ambassador .... sheers
I have the 6S and the GC 84. I like them both, but prefer the GC as I too think the 6S head is a bit chunky.
👍👍👍👏👏👏.
Dave.
Rockwell 6S on my wish list if you”be left any for us mere mortals. Saw your video when you were rocking all the colours. Made me sooo jealous
I think thats the version I have. 👍
The game changer is my go to razor.
There are 0.68 and 0.84 plates with both open and closed comb.
Good choice Kevy! I love my Rockwell too)
Hi Kevy when I purchased my Outlaw from executive shaving I was told it was made in Hong Kong by Alpha Shaving I would be very happy if it is made in Scotland.
It is made in Hong Kong...but it's sold in Scotland...by a Scotsman...from Scotland!! 🏴😂😂
I really like the Rockwell 6s. Great razor. When I want a shave that I don't have to concentrate on the shave, I go for the Rockwell. Also if I'm going out and don't want to cut myself or have weepers to deal with, I grab the 6s. I've been thinking about the Rex Ambassador, but I'm not sure yet 🤔
Have a good one Kevy!
Steve
Nice razor's! Like the video. Thanks 😊 👍
Would love to try a 6S, but haven't used anything else since I bought my Weber 7 years ago.
😮
It's sold in Scotland 😂 That's good enough for me 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 🤣 fair enough!

And Brian at Executive Shaving in your homeland is a prince of a guy. I know him by correspondence and always enjoy our chats about whatever from global politics to music - not to mention shaving! His stance on eschewing the cruelty of badger hair brushes I also respect.
It’s like the Who’s Who of razor’s in your den. It’s going to take something pretty spectacular to knock the 6S off the top perch.
The Rockwell 6S is my go to razor and I have more than a few...great to see it made Kevy's number 1 spot! Cheers from Nova Scotia.
Got to agree with Rockwell I got the 6C excellent shave. The only thing I have found is next day my stubble is longer than if I’ve shaved with other razors. Maybe it’s just me 😀🤣
C'mon, that's no bad thing. It means you can have another shave 😂
Absolutely
I was wondering if you'd put the Gamechanger in.
Great job, Kevy. Thanks so much, sir.
Thank you Mark. Kevy 👍
Great top, Kevy ✋☺️👍💈 thanks!
Many fine shavers there. I do not want to buy any more razors, lol.
Nice list Kevy, definitely high end stuff!!
Hello Kevy where do you get the little plastic washers from and what size are the? Great choice in razors. My favourite is the GC.84.
Hi Andrew,
I got mine from Amazon uk. 200 for about 3 quid!
Dave.
They're also on ebay if you don't want that many i think the size is M4 if my memory is correct.
Search on ebay for plastic washer size M5. Kevy 👍
Surprised the Rex Ambassador wasn't included. It's my favorite, but great list nonetheless
The Rex doesnt perform well for me, only with certain blades. Kevy 👍

Superb list Steven 👍
Love the design on the Outlaw, pricey from what I remember but don't think I've heard a bad word about it. Had a feeling you'd go for the 6S, especially with all the coloured versions you own lol.
😂👍
Hi Kevy, out of my more than 25 stainless steel razors the Razorock Lupo SS DLC (first version, out of production) is on par with the Tatara Masamune. From my perspective the shave quality is not necessarily linked to the cost of the razor. As you mentioned it‘s all about personal preference.
Spot on Sven 👍
The Lupo is an excellent razor. Kevy 🙂
Goodmorning from Athens Greece!!! Very nice videos 👍👍💪. How do you compare the 6s against the Tatara???
I prefer the 6S but the Tatara is great too. The Tatara has a little bit more blade feel than the 6S. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Hello Kevy! Wonderful video! What about the Blackbird or the Dart? I hear that they are outstanding razors. You have used them, don't you like them?
I have both and I do like them but not as much as the 6 on my list. Kevy 👍
I just ordered all Lupo plates (72,95 e daul comb) I can't wait to try them :))
Great kevy!! Greetings from italy ;)

Interesting razors, nice to see such a range I did not know existed. I’ve just ordered an Edwin Jagger 3One6 stainless steel DE razor, with a knurled handle. Have you tried this and if so, what are your views please.
I do have a 3ONE6 razor. Its very good. Kevy 👍
Dave.
@@davesheppard8797 cheers Dave, much appreciated! Keen to get your view on the mild version when it arrives :)

I prefer the aggressive baseplate on the Apollo light. It gives me a closer shave. I think the Razorock Gamechanger. 84 is a comparable razor. Kevy 🙂
Hi Kevy, love your videos I am torn apart between *Rex Envoy* and the *Razorock Game Changer .84* cannot decide which one to buy between the above two razors. I've tried both the Gamechanger. 84 and the Rex Ambassador and if i had to choise one, it would be the Gamechanger. For me, it gave a much more comfortable shave compared to the Rex Ambassador.
