- So, I have a car now and I can go and do wee history videos again but I wanted to go a quick wee spin around east Antrim to get me going.
I decided to find out who was the most successful team in the East……..
Love to see Carrick getting some of the Money to upgrade the ground as badly needed!
The Dingles aka ballyclare is a decent wee ground to watch a east Antrim derby
And for the Rats of Larne fair play to Kenny for the work he has done
... Only one team in East-antrim = AMBER ARMY 😎🚩
Peaky, great stuff, cheers for filming, uploading and sharing, you truly do great work in the promotion of the Irish League, I hope people who have not attended in a while can feel inspired to return through the turnstiles. I’ve said it before but I wholeheartedly crave a top division of twenty teams, we need to look after each other and “spread the wealth”, if some clubs depend on enhanced visiting gate receipts like when the Glens and Blues come to town, then let that happen. I sorely miss traveling to Limavady, Ballyclare, Armagh, Omagh, Ballinamallard, Ards, Bangor, Loughgall, Donegal Celtic etc. There’s only so many times the Glens can hammer the Blues 3-0 (twice already this season!) Gabe
Brilliant, love these videos & oh boy they’ve spent some money up there at Larne.
Enjoyed that, great structured video
Inver park has changed a lot from what I remember, great to see.
Great to see all different grounds
Thanks for these videos. Love what your doing supporting local football. Maybe do a video for NI v Finland or perhaps any corporate packages...cup finals etc
Thank you 💙
Yeah, that’s a good shout. I’ll try and get up for an international game.
Nice video. Not sure many in Larne really count Carrick as a " derby" as the towns are so different. Ballyclare and even Ballymena are more natural derbies though Ballymena have Coleraine as their biggest derby of course. Carrick's other Cup finals were 1984 and 1995 btw...
Niall, good short video into the history of each of the clubs and the whistlestop tour of the three grounds. We in Larne have a great wee ground now but still with room for improvement and hopefully when the infamous stadia money gets released, the works can begin on the main stand and make it probably one of the best grounds in the league but I'm sure that will be open to debate. It's an eleven or twelve mile triangle between the three clubs so they are definitely derby games although you wouldn't always think it and certainly not the last few years. In Carrick they sound like townies but completely plastic and don't get a crowd to their games because everyone supports Linfield and in Ballyclare they ask for a 'high six' as they are inbred but those are the small details. I'm sure, if we win the league, which we certainly should do because we're just amazing, or win the Irish Cup, the club 'management' would love you to come back and do a review of "The Kenny Bruce Years" to include a modern history and what is the latest way they are going to make money and what the plans are and no doubt show you the training facility etc. I know that everyone will say they don't or couldn't care but everyone is also watching, ha ha. Keep up the great work and hopefully you can continue to grow your channel with extra content like this.
I do want to get down to the cliff. Looks seriously impressive. When the league is done I will do my utmost to do a feature.
@@ThePeakys Oh jeepers creepers, don't call it the Cliff, apparently that's a bad thing. Larne Academy of Sport and yeah, it's dead on, helps to bring the money in too.
@@ThePeakys we still call it the cliff 🤣
Better playing surface than inver.
Cowl ole hole thou, put your long John's on.
@@jonnybaxter7234 100% Jonny, it's definitely still the Cliff but I seen the owner correct someone on a social media post a few weeks back and it made me laugh. The Cliff is up there with Mallusk for the coldest places to watch or coach football.
loved the vid niall, brought back memories of when i played for carrick reserves way back in the 90's, when kel mcdermott was there and me old mate winky murph had joined aswell. trying not to laugh too hard at larne fans having the cheek to call anyone plastic lol.
cant wait for the next bunch of history vlogs prob during the off season mate. have to catch up with ya after the split when we come up, hope Oisin is feelin better from his wee lurgy lol
Very informative Peaky. Looking forward to more.
I watched a video of a guy that’s already did this doing over every football ground. Good your covering it too tho
Probably Sam last year. My angle was slightly different than his. Sort of geared more to the local scene here.
The goalposts have without question moved recently
Ballyclare aka as the dingles (brothers marry sisters there)
Carrick aka the plastic townies. Not just from Belfast but still annoying enough 🤣🤣
All 3 approx 15 miles from each other.
🎶 "your sister is your mother, your father is your brother, you all f**k one another, the Ballyclare family" 🎶
It's an absolute classic.
Not allowed to sing songs like that at Larne anymore Jonny, ha ha.
ye going de the derry game tonight
No, won’t be back up. Have someone at the club who has been a bit of a dick so I’m stepping back.
@@ThePeakys oh mb
@@RLOI_DCI I’ll probably be at a few away days.
Pitch looks good at Ballyclare
Yeah, was impressed with the condition of it. Wish I’d brought a ball and boots 😂
How's the wee man doing is his throat any better
He was grand until he came back from footy training there now. Coughing away, cold air and all that.
First
Not for long peaky the harbour rats are coming...⚪🔴😉
Deffo.
It’s Larnes league.
Something no one done here saw coming from where we were but keep the videos up look forward to them each week👍
