And inheriting some great genes from his Dad. Little Steph started so young shooting and moving. Grew skinny till he became a young man and worked hard to buff out for his frame. His mindset is other worldly too. When he is in his Zone it is a god-mode gift. And his footwork is smooth and rhythmic as all out! So much more than just his unreal shooting!

Of course it is. All the top greats tell you what? They put in the time. What's the time? Hours on the court/field.

Thr Olympics shouldn't change shit. It's a small 6 game sample size, Steph played garbage for the first 4 games and caught a heater for the last 2. He's a great player. No question, but.... MJ, Kareem, Wilt, Bron, Magic, Russell, Kobe, Bird, Duncan... let's say 10th. Outside of Magic, and Bird, All the others are 2 way players, and even Birds defense was decent and Magic is a one man system and the greatest floor raiser in nba history, literally makes everyone 20% better. Steph is the greatest specialist in nba history, the greatest small player in nba history, the greatest shooter in nba history, but basketball comprises shooting, passing, handles, rebounding, defense, leadership and clutch ability, plus we weigh the accolades.. he played on some damn great teams.

@@Bestbiggsy respectfully, steph curry with kerr and the warriors literally changed the game around the world showing everyone that the most dominant way to outscore and be efficient to date is with efficient volume 3s and curry is just plain the best at it. so much so that he affects defenses with just his presence and he got reps and techniques on how to manage defenders. like some nba players say, steph is dangerous with the ball, but hes most dangerous without it. you could have great defenders running around with him but they have to commit to that just because of his shooting skill. like them other guys you mentioned, all them needed a team to get their mojo working as well to win like with magic and kareem, mj with pippen & rodman. steph w draymond and klay I feel like its the same thing. 3 always beats 2 and steph is the best at that. this aspect of it is really important too because like you said when you have guys like Steph, Dame, Trae, etc across the league that can regularly cash logoballs your defense has to either give up the best shot in the game or adapt and contest wayyy up the floor which gives you another almost 1000 ft² to cover not only tiring you out more but also opening up the frontcourt for the offense

@@2playschemeo.p.croutes724 Kobe and Bron were shooting logo 3s back then, people forget... it's hard to remember for the average person but if you're a basketball connoisseur you know what it was like back then. Steph just made it popular because he shot better than anybody in history from that range. Let's not forget, Steph really looked up to Bron like that. He's on record mentioning it many times. LBJ, Shaq, and arguably Kobe revolutionized the game just as much as Steph. I think the most important thing is that people tend to believe they can be like Steph more than any other player. He's super relatable and more human-like than players like Kobe and LeBron who people viewed like Gods.

Steph gets credit for it because of how well he shoots, but it wasnt steph it was analytics and more players working on their shot to get in the league. The league doesn't change if you dont have a league of people who can hit 3s at a high clip, and then analytics discovers that over time shooting mid 30s on 3s will net more points than shooting midrange 2s in the 50s.

I said it 1000 times he has to be the new logo. Basketball ain't the same game that was originally created he has made his own. The game will never go back. If you cant consistently shoot deep you can't play. They even got Giannis who to me is this era's Shaq working on his shot. No one can stop him from doing what he does and they still pushing jump shooting. Can you picture Shaq having to learn to shoot 3s. This is Steph's basketball.
