    You are absolutely right ,that rely on the apps alone.
    Because I went to Part one test and I failed because the question was coming up I never heard of them before.
    Many thanks again

    The first time I took the test, I scored 89 overall but failed the hazard prescription section. On my second attempt, I scored a 96 but failed the hazard prescription section once again. Finally, on my third try, I got a score of 90 and passed the hazard prescription section. I received scores of 23 and 24 on all other categories and 19 on publications, which was unfortunately a failing score. Although it seems like a challenging task, I am determined to pass all sections of the test one day.

      Question 3 - you can adjust your mirror to make it easier to see the kerb, also note you don't need to be super close to the kerb, just 'reasonably close', so maybe about 1 foot.
      Question 6 - Depends why they failed, but generally work on what caused the issues on the test.
      Question 8 - A way of opening a car door safely, using the hand furthest away from the door, this is to encourage you to look over your shoulder to look for cyclists. Look for video on UA-cam to give a demo.
      Question 9 - Steer into the skid, being careful not to over steer.

    Hello mate Is Bill Plant a good option for ADI training course? Thank you ☺️

    • @UKDrivingTest
      @UKDrivingTest  3 роки тому +2

      As I have not experience of their course I can't say if it is good or bad.
      Only thing to I would advise you is to find out the following:
      - How many hours does the course offer?
      - Are these in car or in class?
      - Are the sessions one-to-one or two-to-one (i.e. two trainees to one trainer)
      - Apart from the basic training what other support is there? Books, online classrooms, factsheets, websites/apps.
      - Are there any terms and conditions attached to the training, for example do you need to pass part 1 before you can do any part 2 or part 3 training?
      Often courses with more in-class hours, or two-to-one training or specific things in the terms in conditions to stop you taking the training are cheaper.
      It really depends what your learning style is and what your priorities are.
      It is also worth noting the quality of your training will often be dependent on the trainer you get, and with a larger driving school it is impossible to know what your trainer is going to be like until you meet them, they may be great or you might not get on with them.

      @@charlie2601 ask them if the training is one-to-one or two-to-one.
      Also as I say many companies have restrictions like you need to pass part 1 before any part 2 training, you need to pass part 2 before any part 3 training.
      What this basically means is you could pay out a large amount and not get any training, or refund, as you have not passed part 1. of course if you pass the previous part easily then not issue, but just something to consider.

      @@charlie2601 having a quick look the Bill Plant course looks suspiciously cheap.
      There will be some some of catch.
      - two-to-one training?
      - Some of the training is online or in class
      - You have to do all the training in a set period, so if something changes in your life you loose out.

      122 Coasting. This term describes a vehicle travelling in neutral or with the clutch pressed down. It can reduce driver control because
      • engine braking is eliminated
      • vehicle speed downhill will increase quickly
      • increased use of the footbrake can reduce its effectiveness
      • steering response will be affected, particularly on bends and corners
      • it may be more difficult to select the appropriate gear
      Is these answers coasting question ADI?

    When can you overtake on the left?
    When your lane is travelling faster than a lane to the right.
    This is the correct answer not
    On one-way system!

    • @UKDrivingTest
      @UKDrivingTest  2 роки тому +1

      Rule 163 - only overtake on the left if the vehicle in front is signalling to turn right, and there is room to do so.
      Stay in your lane if traffic is moving slowly in queues. If the queue on your right is moving more slowly than you are, you may pass on the left. Cyclists may pass slower moving or stationary traffic on their right or left and should proceed with caution as the driver may not be able to see you. Be careful about doing so, particularly on the approach to junctions, and especially when deciding whether it is safe to pass lorries or other large vehicles.
      Rule 268 - Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake. In congested conditions, where adjacent lanes of traffic are moving at similar speeds, traffic in left-hand lanes may sometimes be moving faster than traffic to the right. In these conditions you may keep up with the traffic in your lane even if this means passing traffic in the lane to your right. Do not weave in and out of lanes to overtake.

    • @UKDrivingTest
      @UKDrivingTest  2 роки тому +1

      Your answer needs more words, it is not just overtaking on the left if your lane is travelling faster than the right hand lane, doing that would result in a serious fault on test and is deemed dangerous.
      See my previous comment for full rule.

    • @UKDrivingTest
      @UKDrivingTest  2 роки тому +1

      Can't find the specific rule for overtaking on the left on a one way system, but it is a comment question on the theory tests.
