Hi Annie, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your videos and shorts. They really helped me with my theory learning/ revision - Especially traffic light sequence, pelican light sequence, difference between pedestrian crossings, road lines (red, yellow, single, double) and the 4 pedestrians signs.
I passed yesterday 47/50 and 62/75!

I passed my Theory Test first time last week; Wednesday 4th of May, at Southwark (45/50 on Theory and 57/75 on Hazard Perception ) I had booked my test on 20th of April and had literally just 2 weeks to prepare for it. Working 60 hours a week, it was bound to be tough, and honestly speaking, I had my doubts and wondered if it was a mistake. First 3 days, I wasted my time, literally going through google searches on "How to pass driving Theory Test" or "Tips/Tricks to pass Driving Theory Test". Finally, on day 4 I got the app "Theory 4 in 1" and went through "Mock Tests", every day. I was on average doing 8-10 Mock Tests every day, with each Mock Test having 50 questions, which means I was literally going through 400-500 Questions everyday.
With just one week left, I was averaging 35-37 marks, in my Mock Tests. I had completely at that point, given up on Hazard Perception, focusing only on Theory Part. With just 3-4 days left, my average finally shot up to 45-47 marks. Whenever I got any questions wrong, I would write it in a sticky note and put it in my bathroom wall, kitchen wall, living room wall, bedroom wall and even on the fridge. I was going all out, going through those sticky notes, after waking up, before going to sleep, before eating, after eating, and even on brake time at work I would go through 2-3 Mock Tests.
Finally, D-Day and at Southwark Centre, my heartbeat shot up and I prayed and prayed, if only I had given myself more than 2 weeks, maybe I should've prepared for at least 6-7 weeks, so that I'd be more confident. Once I sat inside, and started my test, I reckon I was 100% sure with only 38 questions, meaning I had flagged 12 questions to come back later and go through them. I was praying all I need is 5 questions to be right. for the Hazard Perception, I was very focused, because it's mainly about spotting the Hazard, so you just spot it early and get 2 clicks and count to 2, then 2 clicks and then count to 2, then 2 clicks again.
After I came out, I was like - Jesus I flopped, I guess, I'll go home and book it again, but when the guy gave me the paper, I didn't even look at it for few minutes, only once I got to the bus stop that I checked and shouted sooo loudly, Hurraayyyy. Even I was shocked; 45/50, like WOW. But, what shocked me even more was Hazard Perception, where I got 57/75
Update: On 2nd try, I passed my Driving Practical on 21st August 2023. Unfortunately, since then, I racked up around 20 parking tickets. So sad.

@@riannahwilox4205 hahaha i can never get used to the fact how people write "short comments". I reckon people in general, just don't like reading long answers. I mean, if specifically talking about this comment section, if one was really interested in other people's journey or remarks; i reckon no harm in reading a paragraph or two lol.
P.S. I passed my Driving Practical on 21st August 2023. Unfortunately, since August, I racked up around 20 tickets. So sad.

How long it took you to learn on theory test ??
Congrats, the hazard is the worst bit as you have to be on the ball.
You get to look at the scenery of the clip for a few seconds before it begins.
So if its a motorway, you can tell yourself to look for indicators, brake lights, cars swerving.
If its rural, think about cyclists, horses, tight gaps in the road.
If its residential, think about people walking in the street, cars reversing, balls bouncing in the road.
I found that helped a little bit, and look for clues in the clips too as to what hazard may show.
I even paid online for courses i didn't need by accident i need help Annie.your materials are so good.

I've failed my theory test now three times. That's within 4 weeks. Been revising since 3 months done loads of mock tests. The first time I scored 40/50 passed hazard, second 42/50 passed hazard today I failed third time on 43/50 multiple choice and 38 for hazard. I can't believe it. Two video hazard 0 score?

One thing to remember is these questions are car specific, motorcycles don't have handbrakes ;)

I got my theory test in two days the 20/12/2023 my birthday is the next day wish me luck hopefully I’m so scared I have been get good grades on the kicks but the thing is when I get nervous I forget things I got a feeling I will get there and forget everything wishing for the best.
