I like most of this video, however I notice the simmer is always looking to the other side of the pool. Is this because you are a open water program? I have been taught we want to stay at the top of the water, level. The only way I know of doing this is painting your head to the bottom of the pool also with good body position.

When my arms and body are not ideal, I can’t breathe as smoothly and feel like sinking. I also would veer off course. Once I get everything back to ideal movement, breathing becomes easier and I’d stay in my lane. Swimming does require thinking and self analyzing. Without awareness and correction swimming is a chore.
