DEBBIE HARRY at Joey Ramones 2nd annual GLITTER ACID ROCK AND ROLL TRASH BALL EXTRAVAGANZA jan. 1989 at the Ritz when it was on 11th st. now its Webster Hall
@@booneshow what was the point of the question cause i am bit slow. Not wanna know just nothing to do. Godamned R'n'R! Just noticed that took me 2 years 4 a coment! See? Slow
I was one of the camera operators for this show, and have talked about Debby singing her version of Venus in Furs for years. I told some friends about it tonight, and on a whim searched it. I can’t believe a copy exists and I’m heartbroken the quality isn’t better. But what comes through loud and clear is how cool, sexy and in control she was. I’ll never forget it.
The date is wrong in the video title -- it is January 13, 1989. Debbie was reading from "The Black Mass" and "The Vampire" from Crowley's book "Clouds without Water". It's in the public domain if anyone wants to read along.
