  • In this video, I show you how a finished and painted the DIY tin can cowbells to look vintage and rusty. These bells would also look pretty in other colors.
To see how made the bells, check out the Tin Cow Bells | Making the Bells | DIY with recycled cans | unpainted

I cut a piece of thin tin. You could cut a strip from an aluminum pie pan or even the can lid. But be careful with can lid.. very very sharp!
The video just before this one shows you how I made the cow bells. DIY tin can cow bells unpainted.

Those are not brad nails-those are for paper . Brad “nails” are used for finishing wood trim.
I have no idea how you made the top, or the loop. IF it’s in another video, perhaps saying that or even better, very quickly go back over it. For those of us that have never heard of you or you channel, and when deciding whether to leave a thumbs up or down or to subscribe, a video that shows the entire project from start to finish is so much more professional-/and for most people, if they do not have to bounce around to various videos to get the entire tutorial is going to be better-and more people will subscribe.
I’m very interested in this tutorial but at 4 minutes 36 seconds in, I already have these questions.
I’m not trying to be mean-just commenting and trying to give constructive criticism. If this is one of your first videos, then good job.

Thank you for checking out my channel. When I ordered them off Amazon, the description said brad nails. The packet that the gold “button like things” came in also say “Mini Brads” so I assumed that meant brad nails. Maybe there is brads for paper and brads for wood…??? The painting the cow bells was the focus on this video. However, I do have a video that shows how I made the cow bells. That video is the one just before this one and it shows how I figured out how to make the cow bell…and demonstrates how I made and attached the loop. It’s TIN COW BELLS / Making the bells| DIY with recycled tin cans / unpainted.

What is the little ring hanger on top of the bell?

It’s thin tin. I have a roll of tin that I can cut with scissors. You can also use thick aluminum foil pie pan.

How did you get the top rounded?
