for anyone in the legal field, this defense atty is fascinating to watch. he reminds me of Irving Kanarek, Charles Manson's defense atty in the Tate-Labianca trial. the DA was Vincent Bugliosi, who later because a wonderful true crime, mystery writer. Irving Kanarek was really disruptive, had a strange way of cross-examination like this guy. would ask aggressive questions and then four or five questions later, he would totally change subjects to keep the states witness' off kilter. Kanarek would also ask questions that he didn't know the answer to, which is unusual in a trial lawyer.
haven't read it in many years, since college, but the book written by Vincent Bugliosi about the Manson trial and how he dealt with Kanarek.... who was also a space engineer by the way.... was a great read, if anyone's into this kind of thing. V. Bugliosi's books became more fictional as time went by, but Helter Skelter about the Manson trial will always be one of my favorites.

Yes she should have called 911 when he didn’t wake up but if he did have seizures and usually slept them off why would she have acted odifferently that day. Also why not cremate him and save yourself the trouble of possibly being found out. Why would you send pictures? Apart from that one guy none of the friends thought his condition was serious enough to call 911. Also there is a lot of people hating on her attorney it just seems to me he is doing his job, I don’t generally see many ‘nice’ defence lawyers and as for criticising his accent that’s just ridiculous, he passed the bar with that accent. I obviously don’t want her to get off if she did kill but I’m reserving judgment and playing Devils advocate for now. Please be respectful with your response if you come for me and MY opinion

This PA is subpar at best. If she was SO concerned, as a healthcare provider she SHOULD have called 911. She failed in her medical duties. If he has a history of seizures, and his vitals are normal, which they were, he was fine to do what Natalie did.
Michael sounds like he was violent; everyone’s first reaction when suddenly woken up isn’t to punch someone. He was combative in the hospital so much so that they had to place him in restraints and sedate him.
This case has gaping holes of reasonable doubt. Unless they can prove the defendant injected him with something, this should be a NG
She had no motive to kill him. They had been married long enough, she could have divorced him and been just fine. Also, as a pharmacist she could have killed him with an undetectable drug and had him cremated….ijs
