Joshua Pilot is a liar. Watch his body language. He is looking at the prosecutors at every cross examination question, he's careful how to answer every question. He's a dodgy MF!
Asking the the pilot if he worked out with Mike because they both lifted weights and were buff, is like asking the defense attorney if he ate cookies with Santa because they’re both “thick”.
What a nice guy, he cared so much about his friend. It was heartbreaking for him.
I can't stand the defense atty. He's rude and dismissive for no reason.
Col. Klink.
yeah he's out of date. he's watched too many 80's tv shows and he's going for that.
his intellect is good. but he can't read the room. his behaviour will create a bias for the jury. they won't want to reward him.
And he needs about six inches added to the end of his jacket sleeves 🥴
@@antiquemacabre both defense attorneys are strange. It’s like watching a train wreck but can’t look away. Very Entertaining though.
Dismissive & patronising.
I’m sorry but I cant get over the defense attorney’s jacket. He reminds me of the movie with Chris Farley in Tommy Boy 😂
Nice!
I thought the same thing. but I kind of feel like this atty has created a 'character.' I may be wrong, but he reminds me of irving kanarek. charles manson's atty years ago. telling my age I suppose!

So funny. As soon as he started the opening statement I thought of Farley
I don't know about y'all but Mr. Court Nexsen (?) is my hero!!.. 😂😂 He WAS answering Mr. Mafia Wannabe's questions!! But when he responded..'no but I have a pretty good idea how!' I lost it!!..😂😂😂😂 He's my favorite banker!! ❤
His court decorum is terrible. We don’t need his commentary.
100% this. I was so irritated with the defense attorney I was internally cheering Mr. Banker while he was owning Mr Defense Attorney.
I’m just watching this part.
that defense lawyer is so rude. he asks impossible closed questions, and bullies the witness when they try clarify or ask a question about it. or answer using more than one word.
Bully is the best description. Defendant doesn’t realize how smug she comes off. I swear defense attorneys CONVINCE the perpetrators they’re really not responsible! Before I get preached at, I know how the judicial process works- it’s just been skewed out of control to protect defendants.
And I can't understand why nobody thought to call 911, NOBODY ???
Exactly!! WTH is wrong with those "friends"? Are they just that stupid? I don’t know these people, when I saw the photo of Michael on the floor it made me feel so sad for him… unbelievable and disgusting…
And that one friend is a Physician's assistant. She should have insisted they call an ambulance. I hope she us not still working in the medical field.
You can not force a person or their next of kin to do treatment. That's the law.

I cannot stand the defense attorney. So insanely rude & disrespectful to the witnesses. Interrupting and argumentative. The state not objecting is frustrating. The trial is hard to follow with all of the arguments & objections by the defense 🙄
"You're not happy about losing 15,000k to her business are you?" Let's be real here - you mean being scammed???
That smirk might get her in trouble. She just smiles her lawyer is rude as they come and he doesn’t talk clear
When wtnesses give an answer he doesn't like the defense just sounds huffy and rushses on. If they say "I don't know" - he says 'OK' in a tone that shows doubt in their response. He's horrible.

1:08:17 All this stuff about him hating hospitals - I don't know anyone that likes them. It's no reason for his wife to withhold treatment. Rediculous.
The PA should have followed the law as being a mandatory reporter. If she was that concerned! She’s lucky she still has her license.
I hate boson doctors. Trauma from childhood. I don’t go for any reason unless it’s very close family n birth. However my husband would take me to the hospital if I passed out or did not respond for more than 5 mins. If he would even wait that long. Why check his blood glucose anyway? Seems strange.
@@Usermemo8787no. You cannot force someone to go. Not even at a car accident. She believed her good friend. All she knew was he hit his head, threw up etc. there we no other signs. I’m sure all of his friends that saw him n didn’t call 911, feels horribly guilty. Michael was not a child. The guilty witch said he didn’t want to go. As if she had already asked him.

WHY?? did Natalie ask her friend for an injectable steroid and then refuse help instead saying she would administer it herself? She also said that her husband shouldn't have been on drugs...then WHY inject him? PLUS...She didn't call doctors for 5 hours yet she was a physician??
She also shows NO EMOTION during trial about her Husband...Jury will see RIGHT through THAT!!
She is not a physician. She has a clinical doctorate in pharmacy. It is very different from a physician.
She’s deplorable…..

This defense attorney makes me angry
And the defense lawyer so unprofessional he needs to look for a different career
Michael was so loved. I’m so heartbroken for his friends and family. His buddy that testified last broke my heart.
Selfish humans that take people from this world instead of leaving. So awful.
Well, at least we're not hearing 2000 WHAT IF ANY statements by attorneys in this trial.😂
😂 right!
I don’t think her lawyer is going to help her with the jury
I do not care for her lawyer what a rude ass he is trying to blame it all on poor Michael
I agree.....he is badgering many witnesses!! I see right through her she turned down help to inject her husband and why inject
him with steroids? And why accept insulin from her neighbor?? She seems heartless plus she didn't get help for 5 hours!!!!!!
This defense attorney is so arrogant and ignorant. He is not doing his client any favors. I don't care for her very much either
My mother told me 3 days before she died that if I called 911 she’d never speak to me again. After I called anyway, turns out she’d been hiding cancer for months. Some people just don’t want to go to the hospital.
Not defending her at all because I think he’s guilty but I agree, family or close friends do hide their medical diagnosis
Why is she smiling? This isn’t going well for her.
Guilty
She was poisoning him all along
He either started asking questions if he didn't know about the ponzi scheme. Or voicing second thoughts if he did know. And she used her knowledge of side effects of drug interactions to methodically kill him.
Yes, I believe so aw well….
The defense attorney is trying is hard to make it look as though he died from other medical problems haven’t heard any medical testimony this is sad and it’s a big problem when they try to make the victim look bad as though he deserves to die 😢
Her silliness and the way she touches, smiles, laughs with her attorneys … not good.
That's your opinion
Mike's friend Chris was extremely reliable and honest and hurt the defense case by leaps and bounds. Because the defense is trying to say Mike had chronic conditions which was not true. Sadly I think Chris wife giving the insulin to Natalie that morning was ultimately the murder weapon and I know that's got to be so heartbreaking for Chris and he's wife. I know they had no idea Natalie would turn out to be so evil. Also I don't think Mike would con he's best friend out of so much money. I do not believe he new he's wife's business was a con.
If she looses this case, she has her attorney to thank. He’s so arrogant.
Sounds like she has her own self to blame and thank...
@ yes, I agree. I just don’t like the defense attorneys tactics. And for some reason I don’t think the jury will like it. But you are correct. It’s all on her.

This defense attorney is despicable! He won’t let the witnesses speak!
Why is the defense lawyer able to effectively testify via the questions he asks? Especially when no factual basis/evidence has been presented to the jury. I suppose it will end up being their problem if claims aren’t substantiated by anyone other than the defendant. Not seen anything like it before.
for anyone in the legal field, this defense atty is fascinating to watch. he reminds me of Irving Kanarek, Charles Manson's defense atty in the Tate-Labianca trial. the DA was Vincent Bugliosi, who later because a wonderful true crime, mystery writer. Irving Kanarek was really disruptive, had a strange way of cross-examination like this guy. would ask aggressive questions and then four or five questions later, he would totally change subjects to keep the states witness' off kilter. Kanarek would also ask questions that he didn't know the answer to, which is unusual in a trial lawyer.
haven't read it in many years, since college, but the book written by Vincent Bugliosi about the Manson trial and how he dealt with Kanarek.... who was also a space engineer by the way.... was a great read, if anyone's into this kind of thing. V. Bugliosi's books became more fictional as time went by, but Helter Skelter about the Manson trial will always be one of my favorites.
He really isn't a bad attorney to have. He is really showing the holes and personal opinions in the states witnesses, and turning it to help her.
@@NightmareNeighborsInThe541 I think he's pretty good, with good backup lol. those little breaks where he asks the judge for a moment and then consults with one of the other attys is also a tactic to make the witness nervous. in my opinion I think he's very thorough.
@@marmalade0223 Is that? I was wondering why so many, but this makes sense now.
I was starting to wonder if the prosecutor fell asleep during cross-examination.
I came to the comments because I thought maybe it was just me disliking her defense attorney.. the attorney reminds me of Darrell brooks with all the objections.. he is asking witnesses with no medical background irrelevant questions.. maybe the prosecution is not objecting because he is allowing the defense attorney to bury his client .. she is guilty hands down no question about it ..she should have taken a plea to try to get out jail by the age of 80 , but now she’s getting life no parole and disturbs more

This defense attorney is making a fool out of himself. He is testifying more than the witnesses and fishing for pure speculation on every cross. He is rude, ineffective and obnoxious and that is exactly what the jury will think. He is a cocky fool.
He should tell his client to stop with the snide facial expressions and comments to assistant counsel, that would be far more effective! 😠
Its a bit odd that both a cop and a PA (both whom are friends) didnt just call an ambulance. If someones unresponsive isnt there a duty to call for help no matter what the spouse says?
I thought so too, but they probably thought she knew what she was doing… They all could have left.. but took him in anyway.. His friend Chris was not taking No for an answer tho.. he wasn’t budging..
Glad to hear he was so stubborn and didn’t care what the murderer said..

Ok devil’s advocate here, I’m just not getting why most people immediately thought she was guilty? Yes she should have called 911 when he didn’t wake up but if he did have seizures and usually slept them off why would she have acted odifferently that day. Also why not cremate him and save yourself the trouble of possibly being found out. Why would you send pictures? Apart from that one guy none of the friends thought his condition was serious enough to call 911. Also there is a lot of people hating on her attorney it just seems to me he is doing his job, I don’t generally see many ‘nice’ defence lawyers and as for criticising his accent that’s just ridiculous, he passed the bar with that accent. I obviously don’t want her to get off if she did kill but I’m reserving judgment and playing Devils advocate for now. Please be respectful with your response if you come for me and MY opinion

The defense attorney drives me nuts making frivolous objections
they're not frivolous so much as attempts to totally tilt the table in his own favour. bullies witnesses to testify to hearsay that serves him, but objects like a mofo when it comes time for redirect.
This PA is subpar at best. If she was SO concerned, as a healthcare provider she SHOULD have called 911. She failed in her medical duties. If he has a history of seizures, and his vitals are normal, which they were, he was fine to do what Natalie did.
Michael sounds like he was violent; everyone’s first reaction when suddenly woken up isn’t to punch someone. He was combative in the hospital so much so that they had to place him in restraints and sedate him.
This case has gaping holes of reasonable doubt. Unless they can prove the defendant injected him with something, this should be a NG
She had no motive to kill him. They had been married long enough, she could have divorced him and been just fine. Also, as a pharmacist she could have killed him with an undetectable drug and had him cremated….ijs
