I love the historical elements especially the animal skin. I feel like the animal skin was used to soften the harsher sounds like the goblet and the coins (incase they fell on the table). Your costume is very historical appropriate which makes me happy to see.

The visuals in this are phenomenal! I know ASMR is all about audio but there's always an added layer of relaxation when the video is so visually pleasing too :) Especially loving the colors of the lighting - very chill.

What kind of threw me off is I don't think they had this much blue light back then (and it doesn't match the rest of the setting/room/background). But nevertheless, super tingly 😍
Thank you so much Acayette, I appreciate the comment! I agree with you about the blue to some degree however what you didn't see is that on the other side of me is big windows so it was kind of supposed to be the blue hue of moonlight of nighttime and coming through the window for dramatic effect. Perhaps a more white "moonlight" lighting would have been more appropriate rather than the blue. Also I was going for the classic orange/blue combo but mostly I think what you didn't see affected my decision making. I think that probably is a mistake on my part and I'll make sure to correct for future night scenes where blue isn't present on screen. Thank you again for the comment and hope that clarifies my thinking and I do appreciate the constructive criticism as well.

I just found it to be too saturated as moonlight is more white and they mostly used candles back in that era that give of more yellowish warm tones 😀 I just felt like if blue was less saturated it would feel more natural. Please don't take it as hate though. Like I mentioned it was super tingly, it was well done and I can tell you put a lot of work into it!! 😍 PS. I will definitely come back to this video!
@@acayette Trust me, I don't take it as hate at all!!! I take it as a huge compliment that you'd be willing to share your feelings on the video and I'm always trying to improve my videos. Listening is the best way to improve! I think maybe what I will do in the future is lower the saturation of blue and then add in a second small light with a more white moonlight hue and try to combine them in a more realistic way. I think you are right the blue is a bit too deep of a shade of blue and not enough white mixed in. I 100% am obsessed with lighting and I want to get it right! I really appreciate it and once again I'm always appreciative when people take the time to write actual constructive criticism like you did in your comment. Your comment will help me improve my next video and overall make me a better creator and I thank you for that! I am going to try again on a new video in the very new future and I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one too. THANK YOU Acayette and once again its truly appreciated!

@@acayette AWESOME! Then we share the same love! Lighting is SOOO important. I love the idea of a Time Travel and I had planned to do a Time Travel to Ancient Rome but I have not had time recently! Some ideas are coming to mind though....all of a sudden a Time Travel video sounds kind of awesome. LOL. Also an underwater theme would be so cool! I have a Space Theme Video that I've been putting together but it isn't finished it might take a bit. The beauty is my lights can change to different colors so I can really set it how I want. Honestly my problem is learning to break the rules a bit more to add that extra realism. I always aim for PERFECT EXPOSURE rather than full reality, for example with the rays of light from the sun hitting your face and overexposing ever so slightly. I'm working to improve that! Anyway sorry for the ramble but its always a pleasure chatting lighting and photography/videography. Thank you so much for all the suggestions and I'm so grateful for the sub too. I tried my best to give a calm lighting and honestly I bought a bunch of new equipment to add that extra layer! The next video should be even more of an upgrade too. What kind of threw me off is I don't think they had this much blue light back then (and it doesn't match the rest of the setting/room/background). But nevertheless, super tingly 😍
Thank you so much Acayette, I appreciate the comment! I agree with you about the blue to some degree however what you didn't see is that on the other side of me is big windows so it was kind of supposed to be the blue hue of moonlight of nighttime and coming through the window for dramatic effect. Perhaps a more white "moonlight" lighting would have been more appropriate rather than the blue. Also I was going for the classic orange/blue combo but mostly I think what you didn't see affected my decision making. I think that probably is a mistake on my part and I'll make sure to correct for future night scenes where blue isn't present on screen. Thank you again for the comment and hope that clarifies my thinking and I do appreciate the constructive criticism as well.
@@NathanASMR I totally understand where you are coming from! I just found it to be too saturated as moonlight is more white and they mostly used candles back in that era that give of more yellowish warm tones 😀 I just felt like if blue was less saturated it would feel more natural. Please don't take it as hate though. Like I mentioned it was super tingly, it was well done and I can tell you put a lot of work into it!! 😍

@@acayette Trust me, I don't take it as hate at all!!! I take it as a huge compliment that you'd be willing to share your feelings on the video and I'm always trying to improve my videos. Listening is the best way to improve! I think maybe what I will do in the future is lower the saturation of blue and then add in a second small light with a more white moonlight hue and try to combine them in a more realistic way. I think you are right the blue is a bit too deep of a shade of blue and not enough white mixed in. I 100% am obsessed with lighting and I want to get it right! I really appreciate it and once again I'm always appreciative when people take the time to write actual constructive criticism like you did in your comment. Your comment will help me improve my next video and overall make me a better creator and I thank you for that! I am going to try again on a new video in the very new future and I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one too. THANK YOU Acayette and once again its truly appreciated!

@@acayette AWESOME! Then we share the same love! Lighting is SOOO important. I love the idea of a Time Travel and I had planned to do a Time Travel to Ancient Rome but I have not had time recently! Some ideas are coming to mind though....all of a sudden a Time Travel video sounds kind of awesome. LOL. Also an underwater theme would be so cool! I have a Space Theme Video that I've been putting together but it isn't finished it might take a bit. The beauty is my lights can change to different colors so I can really set it how I want. Honestly my problem is learning to break the rules a bit more to add that extra realism. I always aim for PERFECT EXPOSURE rather than full reality, for example with the rays of light from the sun hitting your face and overexposing ever so slightly. I'm working to improve that! Anyway sorry for the ramble but its always a pleasure chatting lighting and photography/videography. Thank you so much for all the suggestions and I'm so grateful for the sub too. Hey there! I'm ok, so I took a job with the channel DavidsBeenHere on UA-cam and I've been so busy all around the world and filming I didn't really have time for this channel. That said, the past couple weeks I started buying costumes and preparing again and so I decided to release a video this weekend. I appreciate the kind words and you checking in. Sometimes with a channel its important to reevaluate things and especially since I have that other commitment now. That said starting this weekend I'll be back more regularly.
