The wording was disrespectful to beautiful Emily; the GH writers had Nikolas say that to justify what he and Liz were doing, but they couldn't, and it ruined their character to the point of no return. Also, it could be that "Emily meant to be with me and love forever, but because she is no longer here with me, I fell in love with you." I believe if Emily had still lived, Nikolas wouldn't have fallen with Liz. Either way, NIZ was a terrible storyline, and I wouldn't say I liked it profoundly. NIZ was all three Ds: disrespectful, disgusting, and despicable, not only to their families and friends but much more to Lucky.
I can't remember...Has Liz ever loved just one guy since she became an adult? I remember she was in love with Lucky and Jason at the same time then it was Ric and Jason and then it was Lucky and Jason and now it's Lucky and Nik. Has she always been written this way?
Yes. But Franco was the exception and now he's dead. He was the true love of her life. She literally had interest in NO ONE for the 5 years they were together. She dodged Lucky, Nikolas, and Jason without question.

Lucky had a right to do everything he did & then some she did sleep with his brother more than once and while they were married. Don't get me wrong both parties were wrong for cheating but damn Liz for making him think he was Jake's father for over a year when she knew it was Jason smfh
The thing I always hated was when they brought up him sleeping with Maxie and taking drugs to justify her sleeping with Nikolas. She got her revenge by sleeping with Jason and they forgave each other. I read some fans comments saying that but that was over and done with and they decided to try again in 09. If she didn't love him anymore then she should have told him. He gave her an out and she begged him to give her time then went over and slept with Nikolas. She knew what she was doing and didn't care and I agree Lucky had every right to say what he said to her. He wasn't a child he could have dealt with her not being in love with him anymore but her cheating on him he had every right to feel the way he did and act the way he did.
She should have been honest with lucky and tould him that she wasn't happy with him like she is with nick instead of hurting like that she's curl to him I feel bad for lucky
It would have been an AWESOME scene if Lucky would have confronted them..why didn't he??and now,his life will be miserable just becos of the 'goody two shoes' elizabeth and his own brother..
😅 I went back & watched the old episodes of General Hospital and this was bad enough & worse just sleeping with your husband brother come to find out they’re all cousins Laura Spencer lucky and Nicolas mother is the daughter (adopted )of Rick Weber who is the brother Jeff Weber who is the father of Steven, Sarah and Elizabeth weber Laura and Luke babysitting Steve he is referred as Laura’s baby cousin and calls Elizabeth’s dad uncle Jeff the writers completely forgot about that

Please! Give it time, and she won't be happy with Franco either. It's really sad how they have written for this character; I used to love Elizabeth. People say she is redeemed, no she's not; otherwise, all of this would have taught her a lesson; she would not have lied about Jason's identity and kept it from him. Nor would she have lied about Sam's baby.
Why is it ridiculous? She isn't the only one with different kids from different fathers. Carly, Maxie, Alexis, Sam, and Olivia all have kids with multiple fathers. Besides It's a soap opera.
Nicholas is by far the biggest disapointment in the cassadine family. The family needs a pure evil cassadine but was banished by Mikos out of fear and let's make him Dr terry a love interest
