The crusher only crushes the ores from the top chest, not the ones in the lower chest.
When the lower chest is full, it just sits there until you make room.
Nothing get's deleted from the materials that are extracted.
I bought this as soon as I saw someone playing it - now I just have to install the game again. Looks amazing.

I saw another gamer bring what was needed to build one of those little habitat buildings like the one that you have your stuff in. When he was about to run out of oxygen, he would build the building, get inside, replenish his oxygen and then exit it, break it down and keep going. He was able to go all over the map by doing this.

I just spend past 3 hours playing this new planet. It was very interesting experience.
Same, even found a nice flat building spot.
I assume the power works like the original base game where the power generators can be placed anywhere in the world. When you found the solar panels you deconstructed you could have just built the smaller ones right in the same spot to save hauling the resources back. Just an idea. Love your game play in all of the games!

yep same as the old map early game lots of little huts all over the place has worked for me
Cobalt is rare on this planet. Main source of it right now is the ore crusher.

Does the Dolomites give ice?
No the dolomite doesn't, it just gives Cobalt and either Iron, Silicon, Titanium or Magnesium. Wishing you a great day. Take Care!
Before you run out of ice you should have water catchers built and not need the ice. I got kind of paranoid about food so I started growing food asap. Turns out I ran out of food and died waiting on the food to mature. I was only a few percentage away.
