Maybe it is I'm not sure where this came from. I just did some work on it for a guy. This pick up is not reading. So it's faulty and not giving us all the mid-range.. But it doesn't sound bad.
I really enjoy your music!!! To me this steel is clearer sounding over-all, the highs are really so crisp and middle is very distinct as conpzref to your 71 push-pull. Too Country? No such thing...
I don't have a 71.. To be clear most of the steels I display are not mine I just work on them.. As is the case with this particular one here.. And the 71 that you heard.
Also the pick up on this particular guitar here isn't getting a reading so you're not hearing the mid-range and lows that you should be hearing.. The pick up needs to be rewound.. But this has been about a year ago the guy doesn't even own this guitar anymore so I don't know what happened. With the pick up situation..
