4mm looks very nice for a daily wear. Franco is thicker and heavier compared to the same width Miami Cuban, so you can't simply look at the width alone. You get hurt by the price too.

That chain is boss 🙌 I love my 6mm 20” white gold Miami Cuban link chain (65 grams), but not crazy that it rolls and does not always lay flat. I know, it’s the nature of the beast on the smaller mm ones. That being said, would I be happier with a Franco? It has the Miami Cuban link look, but is more rounded and won’t have the rolling issue. I’m thinking about trading my chain towards 4 or 5mm plain white gold Franco. Gold prices are so high now it’s gonna cost though. I bought my chain last July when gold prices were lower.

My pendant is circular (like a coin pendant) and is 29.5mm in diameter & weighs 29.5 grams. I want either a 3.5mm or 4mm Franco. I’d prefer the extra weight of the 4mm to support it, but I’m worried it may overpower the pendant a little bit. What do you think? Im in MI also. I wanted to grab a big boy 10mm or so miami cuban or figaro but I decided to be adult and I ended up grabbing locally a diamond detroit D with a 6mm miami cuban. The chain was giving me OCD because it kept rolling or kind of tangling up, I returned it today and bought a 4mm franco which I pick up tomorrow. Kind of excited, the franco's are NICE chains and I feel like I will be happy with it. The weight on the franco's is crazy, lots of weight, very solid chains!
My advice would be to hit up the mall and try on a few different chains and sizes,I did yesterday and found that 26 inch is to long for me,so that helps a lot,also the mall Jewelers are more willing to work with you if they think you a potential buyer I wouldn't go in there and tell them that you only want to try them on because you're thinking of buying from someone else so you kind of got to play the game with him a little bit.

I have a 3mm Franco and just got a 3mm 18k rope yesterday all from Jacoje. Both 22" and they look incredible together. I think they compliment each other and from afar it looks like a huge chain. Only thing is I wish they were both 18k.

It is like silk on the skin,once in a while it may get caught on the thicker material shirts because of the tight link design.the chains are very solid and heavy.

Carrie Hefernan I get the same comments with most of my videos. I personally like how he set the table for his review. It helps other people researching to buy gold (not just from me) an insight on his shopping experience and the things he dealt with. I do the same with my jewelry videos. Sometimes getting straight to the point is what most people want but to give a build up helps the overall point and video
