I have one of these babies and yes that quarter can definitely be worked by a quality body shop. I ran a restoration and body shop for over 20 yrs. My husband watched my Tahoe limited for months through Copart auto auction. I remember thinking what the obsession was. He went ball out in the bidding and had it shipped from Texas. Actually, Arlington Texas is the original factory who made these half yr beauties specifically for a law enforcement agency. Exactly 8,905 were produced. The contract fell through with the law enforcement agency and GM released them to the public. I think the price tag factory new was about 34k. Originally they planned to name it a ss super sport but insurance companies charge based on little titles like this, they called it Limited. I got mine in 2007. I still have it and she just flipped 200k miles. Unfortunately the dash has started caving in and the headliner needs a reline. I drive Subaru outback now because of the 12 mpg compared to 28 mpg. But although that 5.7 kitten doesn't run much everytime I go crank it you get that beautiful purrr. We changed the exhaust and it all just a lovely sound. The sad injury to the example in the video is the exact same on mine from a old man running into it. I had thought a few times about selling it but it feels like family at this point. Lots of wonderful memories driving my baby. I'm not sure what to do with it. I may put in the shed. Limited Tahoe is amazing. I had a cowl hood and 20s on her right after getting it. I wish I could post a picture. Honestly, every single time I've considered selling it, whatever I try replacing her with gets destroyed or becomes a nightmare so I call her Voodoo Queen
Beautiful 2 tone leather seats in this classic Chevrolet Tahoe Limited which are built in Arlington Texas compared to the New Body style of the Tahoe which is the GMT-800 platforms I enjoyed the video
Was gone buy one today but it was ruff: had a rear seal leak, shifted ruff, needed power steering pump/lines & alignment, interior. Engine was beast though 300,000 miles but was pretty QUIET got to 70mph quick. Front end was sunken. Wanted a pretty decent price for it though🤔. My loss I suppose.
355 hp I believe is the factory specs but I think mine needs to get her social security benefits because she is moving with less hp. But the oil pressure is low
I own one and it was my dad's suv and he loved it it sat for 9 years and I'm working my ass off fixing it and I love it so much

I can smell that 90s gm interior from here!
Other than the dent that thing is quite nice! Can’t go wrong with an old tahoe. Better check that rear main seal 😅

I remember when these were everywhere. Cool truck.
They were everywhere ? I thought there were only a limited number of these made ?
@@glazed_vaseline2000-2012ish I would see several on the road daily. Now, not so much.
Yeah same here, really makes a guy feel kind of old lol.
Nahh they weren't everywhere... Chevy made under 8,000 of the Limited trim units.
