I am surprised people say the VRC Alpha is better. I think the RSS blows VRC away, it is not even close. There is so much more depth in the physics with RSS, much more feel, and MUCH better braking behavior.
Same, I enjoy driving it more and visually better made, just doesn't have all the extras, but that's a really specialist coding skill I haven't seen any body else make/can make. I think comparing apple to apples of what they do have equally, I prefer these ones, but definitely lovely to have choice
I don’t think the RSS car blows the VRC away in any aspect. It might have a slightly better model, but from every other aspect VRC either wins, if not blows RSS out of the water.
very, it is free which is nice but would have rather paid for a better car. In terms of formula cars VRC have humbled them. But if they work on GT cars then that is good.
@@F-Maninteresting, i never knew this was the case, i was always team RSS until i saw how much detail VRC had in its setup since the FA23 and was blown away. i did also notice that the RSS car’s lowest downforce rear wing isn’t anywhere near as skinny as they get in real life like in monza, while the VRC does have those ultra-skinny wings. i understand that’s purely visual in assetto, but just a nice touch on VRC’s part to include that kind of detail. also, is it just me or does the front wing look like it sits too high? looks odd
@@tr335hyThe RSS car can also crush real life lap times, it’s kind of a goofy thing to bring up when there’s countless videos of it doing the exact same thing.
@@TurboTortureTester Yeah it's unfortunate to read this time and time again from the same individuals like above, even when we try to explain it with hands on data the conversations just stop so there's just seemingly no interest to learn the actual reasons for it, happened multiple times now. One cool new feture i forgot to menton, on the dash there is now an RPM Low / High / Good menu for your standing starts! :D
is this real life feature in actual F1 cars? Just wondering.
@@jianh1989yes it is
I don’t understand people , the car is so good , can’t say its better than the competitor but I definitely enjoy driving the car
defenitally!
VRC is much better, it is more advanced and realistic.
Is it just me, or is the new 2024 car much harder to drive than the 2023 one? I swear the tyre temps are all over the place.
Higher the diff settings. Both 26 cars are noticably easier to drive than the Hybrid 24 though.
Will the 2023 extra liveries work on this 2024 model?
Yes, liveries are compatible for both cars
yes
might be a dumb question but how do i get the updated 2024 car, i already own the 2024 one
go to your purchases on the website I think
After trying all of the new cars, they seem rushed with all the cars being sub-par to VRC. The v12 is cool but its going to be hard to use in leagues.
@@F-ManThey must be incredibly inefficient if it took that long.
@@TurboTortureTester wow he keeps deleting his comments as soon as you reply 😭
@@tr335hy Probably because he is full of it, and didn’t like getting called out.
@@TurboTortureTester VRC>RSS
For easy pick up and play i would suggest SimDream, for depth and real life accuracy VRC is king might have to go give these RSS ones another try 🤔😂
thieves can get stuff for free! Better than paying!
Sim Dream are thieves, dont support them
@@JacobCappello Hm i wasnt aware, i got sent their cars for free lol

plank wear, STRAT maps, Engine maps, brake shapes etc. Vrc is much better in this aspect
Front wing looks too high
