As gain is reduced the meter rises. Band scope to me is superior in the dx10. It is not like the 7300 the dx10 dose not fold over at the slightest hint of rfi like the rfi sensitive 7300.

Maybe if you have no rfi ... if you have rfi then 7300 is a toy compared with the dx10. 7300 is crushed by noise the 10 just brushes off

The gain affects the yaesu meter turn gain down s meter will rise. Typical of yaesu
On the ftdx10 the S meter points straight S9 all time? It looks like the display of the Yaesu is better, but the bandscope is way too nervous.
