  • Here is a short gameplay video of Tecmo's J. League Go Go Goal on Sega Saturn, released in 1997. This arcade-style soccer videogame features polygon players and stadiums (with VDP2 planes for the ground), running at an amazing 60 frames-per-second.
This is one of the greatest technical achievements for the system and one of the finest demonstrations of its 3D graphics capabilities. The next time you're told, "Saturn Can't Doo Three-Dee," slap them upside the head with this video.
Gameplay follows a classic arcade style with fast action and simple passes, headers and kicks, and features the Japanese J. League soccer teams and four stadiums. Analog controller support is included, which is very nice.
This video is shown purely for demonstration purposes. Enjoy and thank you for watching!
