Essa Fire Department Tanker Shuttle Recertification Training

Every 5 years Essa Fire Department is required to recertify it’s tanker shuttle accreditation program. Volunteer fire fighters from stations 1 and 2 are shown practicing for their recertification by running all 3 of their tankers from the fill site off of Mill St and Hwy 10 in Angus to an open area on Vernon St where they would shoot water at a high pressure into an open field. Essa Fire Department will be tested on these requirements on August 19.
Tankers 1 2 and 3 were driving from the fill site on Mill St the the field from around 6pm until 8:30pm Pumpers 1& 2 were continuously pumping water, Pumper 1 was constantly filling each tanker. Pump 2 was used to collect the water from the drafting pools and spray the water into the fields
Thank you to the amazing firefighters from Stations 1 and 2 they were nothing but kind. It was a honor to watch these guys do what they do
