Great catch! Thank you for posting this. Very refreshing to see a locomotive with a paint scheme that hasn’t been obliterated by graffiti to the point you can no longer tell what railroad it is!

Thanks, glad you liked it! Yes, being in the secure refinery facility definitely keeps this locomotive clean.

Awesome video. What time and days does this Savage switcher work?

Thanks. They come out of the refinery after 8 pm. Sometimes it's very soon after 8 pm, but other times it's not until much later (it could be hours later). They usually spend about 30-60 minutes working the yards, and then they head back into the refinery. I think that they work every weekday, and some weekends.

Do you know why the horn is so weak on the short hood?

Hmmm. Do you think a savage Passover is risky?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you wondering whether the Passover holiday would be a bad day to try to catch them?

No I call Passover’s when I put my camera between the rails on the tracks and the train goes down over it.

Ah, I see (ha -- that makes a *lot* more sense than my initial guess about what you meant). Honestly, I wouldn't do that if I were you. I think that's likely to attract the attention of the refinery security and/or the mall security.
