One of the best videos on acquarium setup. Any learnings from this whole process , would you be doing anything different if you had to redo this.. 40k for 6 feet is not that high. I'll be purchasing a 5feet tank in 3 months and my local acquarium shop guy says its going to cost me 40k without cannister filter
Zero earing so far ! Yes if I have to make Another I would use front viewing glass crystal clear. My suggestion if your investing 40 k, Add some more funds and make a Sump trust me you will never regret my words !

Absolutely True, infact This Video is Just a base Price, there are many more, electric bill, min 4 to 5 Diff Food , Monthly Mechanical Media replacement ! Most Imp you Need to Buy Fish As Well !
Both are good depending on your usage, if you want to use it for 15 to 20 years go for Iron, for short terms 10 Or more go for wood, both needs good care, depends on usage.. but currently wood is also expensive, and for 6 feet minimum u need 6 inch thick Pipe for support which is also quite expensive so think once and chose as per your budget
Hiii..... I think you have to do some modification in sump, water have to go through the media. But in your case water is flowing on top of the media. Sorry if i am wrong. Good luck
I Regularly Make Changes, I will be adding one more Glass Slab completely for ceremic rings ,and if possible a small Chamber box for K1 Media, Leaning is constant ! SO It will give more proper water flow circulation !
@@vaibhavvashishtha6230 You can go for 10 mm, but Bottom base add two for more support, u can also use 12 mm but u have to compromise little bit with clarity if your using normal Glass , but as long as water is clear and good light you won't feel muck difference
sir with all due respect can you provide info on how you made the sump, im always confused about a bottom sumps plumbing work , the overflow etc, how did you do it , i am going to make an aquarium also and i want a bottom sump but making overhead sump seems easy

My acquarium guy says black sand isn't recommended because it's artificially colored, I love that black look. I currently have a normal one. Can I replace it to a black one?
I have a 3.6 feet tank and I'm about to get a 5 feet one next month. These tanks are in my bedroom, I have an internal filter which makes sound and thinking of getting a canister one for the 5feet tank. Would that be too much of sound in a closed room? Thanks for the tips Ken
@@bharatnaidu4785 So far I have not face any problem with color fading, Even if it happens it will take years for the color to fade out, Till then your Fish will already adapt the ecosystem !

I brought a used glass, but it was way back ,now the prices have gone high, you need to check with the Glass shop, how ever if you have seen my old video , I have re changed my front glass with extra clear , so price have increased, don't wanna give a proxy answer please check with your nearest seller
I’m not an expert, but I feel design of sump isn’t proper. Water isn’t flowing through the bio media. ( I’m going through lot of videos regarding this to make one for me)

To be honest, I have seen many sand losing its color, Well black has always been my favorite, so in all of my tank I use Black Sand !
