*Exploring Tokyo: Day 4 Part 2 - Cosmo World, Gundam Factory, and More!*
Hey everyone! Welcome back to the second part of my Day 4 Tokyo adventure! This vlog covers our exciting afternoon and evening in Yokohama, despite a few unexpected twists.
*Cosmo World Fun and Ferris Wheel Views*
Our first stop was Cosmo World, a vibrant amusement park right in the heart of Yokohama. The highlight of this visit was definitely the giant Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris wheel. As we ascended, the panoramic views of Yokohama Bay were simply breathtaking. It was a mix of thrilling heights and serene beauty - truly a unique experience! If you're ever in the area, don't miss out on this ride.
*Gundam Factory - A Dream Come True*
Around 5 pm, we made our way to the Gundam Factory. For those who don't know, this place is home to a life-sized, moving Gundam robot RX-78F00. It's a sight straight out of a sci-fi dream! Sadly, the Gundam Factory closed its doors on March 31, 2024, so I felt incredibly lucky to catch it before it was gone. Watching the giant robot in action was surreal and a definite highlight of my trip.
*Rainy Yokohama and Book Off Thrift Shopping*
Our Yokohama tour was cut short by an unexpected downpour. The rain came pouring down, and with limited time, we had to wrap things up sooner than planned. Earlier in the day, we had a great time thrift shopping at Book Off. For those who love finding hidden gems, Book Off is a treasure trove of second-hand anime figures, coats, and more. It's a perfect spot for anyone looking to score some unique souvenirs.
*Ending the Day at Matsuya*
To cap off the day, we grabbed dinner at Matsuya, a popular Japanese fast-food chain known for its delicious and affordable meals. After a day of adventure and unexpected weather, a comforting meal was just what we needed. The food was fantastic and provided a cozy end to our eventful day.
