She is so right…Health Care is ESSENTIAL. I give back to my country through the children. I would comeback today if we have good healthcare not just for the wealthy but also the poor. That’s my dream for Jamaica.
I truly admire Dr. Bailey. She inspires me to keep pursuing my vision of helping the children and elderly of Jamaica. I'm happy to see that she has written a book. Just ordered it on Amazon.
Plant more fruits and vegetables, it should be in places reachable all year round. There is a lot of opportunities in agriculture...you cannot be healthier without having better systems to get the right foods all the time. This would reduce health problem and awareness of what to avoid along with the essential changes suggested. Specialization is indeed necessary in the health industry and more hispitals are needed to accommodate those who are meant to work in it. Education needs reorganization and a greater kinesthetic arrangement in all areas. ❤
In May Pen hospital its common in conversations all over the parish that "this is a place where people go to die." The public hospitals in Clarendon and Spanish Town and probably elsewhere on the island are seen as hospice care. And the private Indian doctors from India in May Pen practicing i find that they dont really care about the black people they are providing care to; you can tell they are just there for the money waiting to transition to the US or Canada. The govt needs to put a stop to these doctors from India and chinese small business men setting up shops in downtown parade as a front to transition to North America.
LOVE is so essential in life, for us to become civil to one another, we first have to know what love is, then transcend it, to another level for us to move forward. Both Education and Health Care are the #1 priority in JA. Which one comes 1st, Health care or Education?the chicken or the egg ??? Getting sick in JA is eminent death -you’re given NO CHOICE OR CHANCE to survive or go overseas for treatment, if you don’t have money or know the right persons to pull for you. That goes for the poor locals. Can both entities be fixed by the gov, or are they awaiting hand out from Dev countries to do something or nothing?

I agree with her healthcare is crucial. My parents are Jamaican I visited there and there were no decent hospital and no way of doing medical testing quickly. Jamaica should negotiate with Great Britain instead of leaving the Commonwealth and get them to provide funding to improve the healthcare system in Jamaica and allow Jamaicans to go to England as citizen and be able to get all the resources of British citizen if they want Jamaica to remain one of their Commonwealth countries. Jamaica needs structure and financial resources. The crime rate is too high for such a small Island
The Healthcare system is systemically poor. I would be back in Jamaica right now, if Healthcare were readily available in Jamaica. Imagine, you go to the hospital and the doctor gives you a prescription, you get it filled and bring it back to the hospital so the doctor can give it to you or use it to treat you. Unless of course you can go to the Thwaite's wing of UC, then all will be sort of well!!!!
Two heads better than one,why can't you rich people involved it's our country help to build it contact the government and do something my sister helps one hospital alot.
instead of this emphasis on sport and tourism we need to look to the life sciences. In the midst of disaster pandemic or wars the life sciences boom. Look to industries that do well in gloom
You Go Queen ❤ Sending Blessings From Black Americans

Healthcare is key (and it should not cost the citizens). Everyone deserves excellent healthcare (not only for the rich).
STEM it is.
Very please and hope that you would consider being a,sda.
We are living in the last days. The healthcare system is just as bad in some foreign countries.

SHE IS NOT THE WEALTHIEST JAMAICAN WOMAN
So what! She has more compassion that money cannot buy! Period!
@@chickiepup That's not the issue
🙄 Ok. So what?😏
If she has the reported US$650-US$700 million net worth that the OurToday article stated online then she is definitely the wealthiest Jamaican woman
NO SHE IS NOT, the wealthiest woman has a networth of $2.4 billion (US)@@andreww5574
