@@SmileysYT I connected a custom grill light, and tested it while the car was still on, and disconnecting the PCU Fuse and connecting it again, left me with a Check engine light, which after several restarts, left me without the Hybrid power of the engine, so imagine that on a huge Sequoia 😑. Your tip, allowed me to reset probably the PCU connection to the fuse and computer (probably the hybrid system faults even easier with the Hybrid System) so the reset, reset as well those setting and VOILÀ! Everything is working now since then. Triple thumbs up!

Helps the driver to control skidding when swerving suddenly or turning
on slippery road surfaces.
Make sure that all tires are of the same size, brand, tread pattern and total load capacity. In addition, make sure that the tires are inflated to the recom- mended tire pressure level.
The ABS and VSC system will not function correctly if different tires are fitted on the vehicle.

@@AnthonyNovello no idea, just a normal day of starting the car. It got worse, the second time I did the battery reset. The battery was charging really fast, while driving and then the warnings flashed.

@@marksoriano8521 It worked for a few blocks. Then the issue popped up again. Ended up having to replace the hybrid battery with a refurbished one. Hope yours doesn't have the same.

Yes if it's coming often replacement is needed but for you to be sure check with mechanic

I know same here broo I had that for some time and then one of my friend *Mechanic* told me just reset it whenever it comes up , but if it really gets bad then yeah it best to start looking for a new one or rebuild one

You could drive till it stops running lol . Naa for real it all depends on the battery there are people have HBrid problems car won't start and some go for long time I went 1 year with a bad battery just kept doing resets whenever it needed
@@SmileysYT yeah I was able to drive mine. I thought it was gonna stop but it didn’t and I drove it for 2 hours without the hybrid system working. Then I reset it the next day. So far it’s been fine after I reset it

I had this cvhs problem prior to switching out the battery, the clamps were loose on the battery sometimes it’s something simpler then needing a new battery

This dosen't fix the problem just for information. This is just a reset for temporary..You have to go and check it out by the Mechanic. Most likely you might have to change you're Hybrid Battery. Good luck
Smileys YT it doesn't start and with all the dash lights on including check engine, red triangle with exclamation, red steering wheel, "Check Hybrid System" message, etc and the "Ready" never comes on. I bought a new battery 12vdc and still the same. Further more I measured the voltage of each cell of the hybrid battery each reading 8.3v. Somewhat stump now🤨 next test the inverter/converter unit and the inverter coolant pump and finally take to Toyota since this 2013 Prius has a recall related to hybrid system.

By battery do you mean the 12 volt or the battery pack
The problem is the root cause of the problem, its not just duff cells if at all. In the UK the problem is water ingress because the Japanese have no idea how to design a car fro wet weather

Hmmm sorry don't know what to tell you since I'm not a mechanic and never had that problem, but did you try this method should probably stop that and see for how long does it stop it and if it comes back check with mechanic

I had to get back in and climb over to passenger seat and got out and then it didn't beep. I was charging it because I don't drive enough. Where might the code be?

No 12v can not be the issue for the hybrid,
Try looking at gas cap o ring or replace gas cap

You could check but if your having problems with hybrid battery , changing regular battery won't fix the issue it would just do a reset like I did and somehow hybrid battery problem comes back

I bought it refurbished about $13-17 hundred new one goes $3-4 thousand. Yeah at the beginning I was resetting it 1nce a week or longer but I guess my cells were going bad so I had to reset more often and yes the car was going fine and when the hybrid didn't work car works fine just works on gas and then reset the hybrid then I get engine and hybrid working till the next time I need to reset. Hybrid will last for whatever time just you have to reset it gets annoying

If it drives and it's not giving you problems while you driving don't do anything, if it's giving you problems try to reset it and if it comes back then it's probably hybrid have some cells that's gone bad.

sometimes it might mean you need oil change because that happened to my Toyota hybrid and after oil change the red triangle light never appeared again right after the oil change.

The original code was for the gas cap....fixed that.....code is gone but the engine light is still on
Like I said this is temporary fix just like I said on the video it all depends how bad is your hybrid if its real bad it won't go away . It could go away for a moment once you start hit the gas it comes back on .

How I came to find out that 2 of the sells are damaged, because when the warning light shows up again is when the car change from EV MODE. That’s from battery to fuel doesn’t happen all the time tho for I can go 1/2 weeks and nothing shows up. Am working on getting a new battery I was thinking to just change the sells that are damage but I think it’s best to change everything.

Mine was brand new car 2021 venza. a month ago I pulled out a wrong relay from fuse box and put it back in the same spot while the car was running boom it shut off the engine and gave me bunch of fault codes with engine light after that I couldn’t even start a car it was disabled had to tow it to a dealer I googled it search on UA-cam answer was nowhere to be found about how to clear the codes and restart the car

@@SmileysYT well after I towed to the dealer they asked me what happened how it happened I pretty much lied to them that i was at a gas station parking lot and all of sudden engine shut off so I had to towed, so after that mechanic ran his computer wasn’t sure what was causing the codes he was suspecting it could have been rodents ate up the wiring harness so he pretty much took the entire lower dash board apart just to find out what’s going on and after two days I got the called from an adviser that the mechanic was able to start the vehicle but still not sure what caused those codes to pop up so I went to the dealer the next day and spoke to an adviser she told me that it could be from a dash cam so do not plug your dash cam through 12 volt I said okay I knew it wasn’t from dashcam later I plug back in and everything seemed alright the reason I lied to them was because sometimes the warranty won’t cover the damages that you have caused to the vehicle by doing your own experiment,
I used the procedure to reboot the 2010 Hybrid Warning System Lights, and the quick fix worked perfect, until about after 100 Miles...it happened again, and the Hybrid Warning Light was again activated... but i was able to drive our 2010 Pruis about 5Miles back home, without any issues, as it ran just fine with all the Lights lit up in my dash! but i was wondering, because i have 150,000 mi's on the original Hybrid Batteries, and i did recently replace the main Starter Battery!
If the main Hybris Batteries start to fail, while i was accelerating, would they trigger the Hybrid System to activate the warning Lights again? i was accelerating during the 1st warning light activation also< would this be a possible issue for the warning lights activations???
No once you reset it dont matter how much you accelerate, but like I mentioned if your hybrid is really bad then this quick fix is going to happen very often. For example for my car in the beginning I used to do this same every 2 weeks or more and as time went then i had to do it more often when it came to the point doing it everyday so I changed the whole Hybrid new one .

Yes its possible most likely the battery is bad if you can rebuild it or change just the cells but it's kind of hard so I changed the whole battery(Hybrid)

This is a temporary solution.... If warnings appear again you have to replace a hybrid battery system

Are you sure you doing the right way. Take of the 12 v battery leave it for 2,3,5 min and then put it back together. If this dosen't work then you're battery it needs to be changed
Like I said if it doesn't work that means need to be change because it has more bad cells then good
I disconnected the negative side cable to the 12v battery for 10+ minutes then reconnected but still no start with all the warning lights on. Then brought an obd 2 scanner it read out P0A80 faulty Hybrid battery. 😦 Bigger problem than I wanted $$$
@@tmph1814 yeah all hybrid battery problems will read P0A80 same with mines. But the thing is yours might have a bigger problem. Does you're car starts at all or it dosen't turn on . And yeah I know they are costly $$$$ but for Prius it's cheaper then other ones and its easier to find then any other battery meaning used ones
@@tmph1814 did you connected the OBD 2 with bluetooth? If yes, just clear the error. Don't even have get out of the car to take the aux battery plug out all the time. Also there's an option in the app to auto clear the error while you drive. I hope I'm not too late.

@@SmileysYT it is POA80, but the battery seems good when i check it with torque pro app, while driving . it doesn't show any shot cells , all are 15 v and up.

I didnt say about the 12v Battery. We are talking about Hybrid if you know what I mean and if you read my comment that is pinned it says that this is temporary it could last for a day or for a week it's all depends on you're HybridBattery how bad it is . There is a hybrid that won't even start the car of course it won't fix that .Like I mentioned from my experience I unplug the 12v battery my hybrid restarts and I'm ok to use it for a day sometimes goes for 2,3+ days
