Standard picatinny rail, you can use Vortex 1 inch tall rings. That is what I did. I have three Venoms. On my Mossberg Patriot .308 Win and MVP Long Range 308, I use the Mossberg full rail and the 1 inch rings and the Venom scopes. I have the third one on my Windham Weaponry R16SFST-308 using the Vortex Sport AR mount. That also takes care of clearance because that is an AR-10 type of rifle. And I just recently put the Patriot in an MDT LSS Gen 2 chassis and SCS stock with the folding adapter.

Had a DB Tactical now a Venom. There's just something about 34mm tubes that just seems right. Side note - when I opened the Venom I found that the supplied throw lever was too large. I emailed Vortex and they shipped out the right one lightning fast. Great service.

I put a venom on my 6x47 lapua and its a great fit on there for sure. I didnt have the budget for a Razor like I would have liked to put on it and the Venom was a solid choice in the end.

Would really love a video where you take us through the new cartridges you're shooting, each ones pro's and cons and where each of those fits into your collection in terms of how you use them, both hunting and sports shooting. Congratulations once again on the new home.

I do have a venom mounted to my 700 SA in .308. I also have an SE mounted to a Ruger American in 6.5CM so far I really like the Venom. Besides having less elevation adjustment the only downfall is slightly smaller FOV than the SE.

I have the Venom on top of a 7mm PRC. Glass is great, I like the reticle. Took it out to 625 yds the other day. Shot good, over all very happy with it. I was wondering if the Oryx chassis is a good set up for western(US) hunting? I am a bit hesitant, only because it seems to be on the heavy side. Your thoughts? Thanks.

Hi, I watched your video on using the strelok pro app to true muzzle velocity and I have done the same thing. However I was wondering about how to true the bc as well. Do you shoot further out than what you true the velocity at, and then true the bc so that the drop lines up at that further distance. If so at what distance would you recommend I true the bc. I also know you can true the bc at multiple distances however I don't have a chronograph. So idk if I can even do that or if needing to true bc at different distances is even necessary as I don't plan on ever shooting futher than 1000 yards. I have currently trued my velocity out of my 7mm08 by shooting at 509 yards (this is the furthest I have ever shot out to so far), do you think it would be better if I trued the velocity at a further distance? Thanks for all your videos, they are really beneficial. I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

Spent about 30 minutes comparing the 2 out to 600yrads and for my eyes the clarity of the venoms glass beats out the strike eagle I also noticed the reticle it self though the same style appears to be darker Lines in the venom.
