9:44 its astonishing, you can just watch the battery go from 71% to 69% in that one run. EV's are way too underdeveloped and there needs to be more time and research put into electric vehicles at this stage because EV sales have plummeted and the world just isnt generally ready for them yet
>>> I had a Yaris hybrid - left it unused for 2 weeks and it wouldn’t start as the 12V battery was flat; happened again and then found out this is a known problem.
Inside isn't too bad. Outside back is quite nice. Front is horrible. And so is the price. I am a Toyota fan. I currently own two. Thankfully Toyota aren't convinced that EVs are going to replace ICE cars, so will continue to supply the more rational of us for years to come. Politicians need not apply. Still grossly overpriced as a result of unnecessary technology. But at least practical. There is another solution. All EVs come with a towbar so they can take a big diesel generator with them. New version of a hybrid.
I think you are mixing up the costs. The battery manufacturing, as well as all the new components that need to be designed with them, are what make it so expensive (Costs ~$20k for the battery presently). There are plenty of ICE cars with the same 'unnecessary technology' that are much cheaper than this. The only way to bring these manufacturing costs down is by building more (economies of scale, just look at the Model Y), which makes Toyota's lack of enthusiasm disappointing. Also, BYD is making that generator solution already, except it's like a hybrid that only drives the wheels with EV motors, and has an EV-sized plug-in battery.
The bZ4X AWD is a great choice for anyone who wants a reliable and eco-friendly car, with a range of over 400 km and zero emissions.

i mean if you full throttle a gas car, they also only get about 4 miles per gallon....

Can't be too bad. Barry likes it.😂
It's trash
Certainly for sure no bad mouth about it even though it's best is only average
you did not talk about the charging where its hurts
Should be closer to $50k
Agree
It's the Toyota tax at play here
Hydrogen 💪🏼

And the diesel generator has the capability to hook up and charge the battery while driving.

Barry is the only loser who would buy this . Its just rushed.
