I am also an Enterprise superfan, and I would watch the heck out of this. I don’t see it getting a greenlight, though, because Paramount sees Enterprise as a failure and because you need to develop an exciting, sexy hook as the main storyline that you can lead your pitch with.
Was, and still is one of my all time favorite shows to watch. To me it was like, M.A.S.H. those many years ago, just couldn't and didn't want to wait for a week to see next episode and season end each time was like someone had slowed down time to a crawl. I don't know what it is like to be on some drug and have it taken from you, but I for myself consider all the waiting has to be similar to me anyway, and then just cut it off without finishing so much was someone's bad joke except that millions of us were not and still not laughing
Enterprise was an interesting take on Star Trek. I didn't mind it being a prequel and yes I would like to see your pitch put into production. But.. (like Peewee herman says we all have a big butt).. the current ST reflects the state of affairs in Hollyweird. That is the days of pure creative science fiction for the sake of sci-fi is over.
I have one of them to do a Anthology type show, every episode we go to a new ship in a new situation in a new part of space. Just, create a fuckload of new characters. After they're created, we don't deal with them anymore. But it would expand the universe greatly new ships new adventures things that you would never see happen on a typical Star Trek show. And then next week a new crew new situation new ship. Kind of like an outer limits or Twilight Zone take on the Star Trek universe. Your pitch is a cool idea so I have little faith that anything like it will ever happen
a reboot(?) oh, tosh. Tucker future backstory of being drawn into section31's resurrection program and w/ his unique skill set, escapes & assists Reed in gittin' shed a those turds
I enjoyed Enterprise, when I dropped in.. but it seemed to fuzzy and directionless.. all series after that are simply 'Star Wars' to me and I have never watched any of them as "They were not made for me". Voyager was already a strong diversion and is when I started to check out. DS9 felt unfinished and needed to reconcile with STNG.. which the final episode of Enterprise was too little too late. The Six Million Dollar Man Actor who steered CBS at the time pretty much destroyed Paramount before he left. I think a new Series has to go back to DS9 and revisit that timeline starting from there.. and then act as points of departure for any future series.
This doesn’t work for me for several reasons. First, I don’t want a sequel series to an existing series. Second, I don’t like the idea of an Earth-based series. Third, I don’t want the idea of flashbacks introduced. Fourth, please, no NX Refit (ugh). Fifth, I don’t want Classic Star Trek bridges with the abominations being produced today. Lastly, I would never support any Trek production being made under the current regime.
Perfect!

This idea would be like Star Trek West wing
I did consider mentioning The West Wing in the video.

Great plot, I LOVE IT! Bring it on!
What the world needs right now is good Star Trek content. What is labeled Star Trek now is a pale imitation.
I agree 100 percent. Kurtzman-Abrams trek is NOT Star Trek.
I like your idea as a one-off film but not as a series. Maybe a miniseries?
A miniseries could work. Not every story needs to be told across multiple seasons.
Fan Film???

Be careful sharing your ideas. Ideas aren't copyright protected and someone at CBS could take this twist it and call it theirs.

Enterprise got much better by season 3
Agreed.
