Mateer was sacked 34x’s at WSU, while Arnold was sacked 31x’s in 2024. Although the league play and talent are different, one had 4,000 yds, while the other had ~1,500 yds…..drop mic!
We were so hyped for 2024. All top 6 WRs get injured and our OC turned out to be a joke, didn’t even have a QB coach for Jackson Arnold. OL was a weak link but mostly because of bad OC/no identity first half of year. When Finley took over as OC we started doing better, and we’re actually moving the ball against Bama and LSU at end of season. OL will be better next year with Arbuckle. Hoping Mateer and Burkes and Gibson can pop off in 2025
He has a better deep ball then Gabriel as well.. and Oklahoma won't have 10 of their starters hurt on offense all year.. the line will be fine getting bith starting tackle back from injury
Lol and as a Sooner fan I am back to wanting to attend the game. going to try to make the trip up north in 26 too, thats def a bucket list road game for me.
The O-line is going to be way better, ans we've already replaced all the production from last year in the WR room. 🤷♂️🤷♂️ Just sayin 10 wins is on the table because the defense is still going to be elite and the offense will atleast be average. Also the O-line was inexperienced last season which is why it was bad, those young guys played more than half the season together and got better every week the O-line will be one of the best units barring major injuries.

The biggest upgrade is having an actual QB coach on the staff this year 😂😂
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This reminds me of when Stoops brought in Lincoln Riley and Baker Mayfield

Burks is our best WR
Now I don’t feel as confident being a Michigan fan with that Oklahoma matchup next year

@ Yeah I live in Florida so I don’t get to attend the games but I got tickets to the bowl game against Alabama
Dont forget your HC is a Sooner OL Alum
This dude doesnt remind me of Gabriel at all personally... mateer is an upgrade over arnold or gabriel! Glasses dude seems lost lol
Exactly lol he’s way better than dg

7-5 won't cut it
I’m so glad that toxic Nick Anderson is gone… dude is made of glass and laid out on the season to get into the portal.
dude is not more talented than mike hawkins jr. experience wise yes. but stars talent wise he's behind mike
