Moments of Joy: A Purim Exploration of Jewish Time

Time is fundamental to the human experience, and in Judaism, even more so. Jewish tradition provides us with the spiritual technology to navigate difficult moments throughout our lives. In conversation with Rabbi Lisa Rubin, Rabbi Dr. Dalia Marx - with her distinctly feminist, pluralist, and gender-fluid perspective - will guide us through Jewish time and aid us in understanding Purim, our holiday of joy, in our current moment. This teaching is presented in memory of Rabbi David Ellenson, whose beautiful and personal introduction appears in Rabbi Marx’s book From Time to Time: Journeys in the Jewish Calendar.
