Happy Birthday Vic Dana born on August 26, 1942. He is an American singer, dancer, and actor. Dana is best known for his 1965 recording of the Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett song "Red Roses for a Blue Lady", that was a Billboard Top Ten hit single.Other hit recordings on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the 1960s: "Little Altar Boy", "I Will", "More", "Shangri-La", "I Love You Drops", and "If I Never Knew Your Name". - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vic_Dana
Few singers would release as beautiful ballads as this number these days. And so many producers and promoters fail to create melodious music, which I really lament.
the best. he sings outstanding, Bobby Vinton mame this song famous, however Vic does even better. The band/orchestra backing him is wonderful. the technical staff did great mixing this music.
I shall play this song on the piano for the Chinese singer Ju Jingyi who is from the southwestern province of Sichuan, China. Hope she likes it. My heart will always belong to Ju Jingyi as I currently have a crush on her this year! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

VIC DANA was far better than he was given credit for being - his recording of "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" was the best version of the tune and he does a great job with this song as well ~

Love this one, too.. Bobby Vinton's was special, as well. Different voices, but each was terrific.

I love Bobby Vinton's version but Vic's voice was richer and the music was sweeter. Vic Dana was popular, but not to the extent of Vinton. Wonder why?
+007jimmymac I completely agree with everything you said.
