You are so obviously a wonderful teacher! Thank you for sharing your day with us!
Thank you and my pleasure!🙏💕
Thank you for being a teacher, and giving us a peak into your world.
It’s my pleasure! Thanks to you for taking the time to join me! 🤩
Thank you for sharing your "day in the life" as a teacher with ADHD. Your calming presence and voice is wonderful! congratulations on getting 400 subscribers.
What a nice thing to say! Thank you. Since I hear my voice all day long, it’s not calming to me…LOL…so I’m glad it is to others. 💕. I’m in anticipation of your next video. 🌹
I remember those days: so exhausting. Great blog. I can tell that you are a very caring teacher.
I appreciate that, Katy! ❤️❤️
First, let me thank you for being a teacher. You have one of the hardest jobs ever! It was really interesting to see how your day goes and everything you do to prepare for your kids! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome! This year, although one of the most tiring for me, was a year when I feel I’ve done some of my best work. I have a wide range of differing needs in my class this year and these kids taught me so much about how to connect with them as well as some things about myself. 8 more days…I’m going to miss them. 💕
You’re at 400🎉🎉 took me a whole year to reach 400! You’re doing it! Well done. Your research has paid off and I’m proud of you and happy to see you succeed. Keep going, I’m over here cheering you on.
Thank you! I’m having fun and enjoying it too! The learning curve is high. But with good kind souls like you finding your way to me in support and friendship, it makes it all that much better! 💕💕💕
I’m so thankful you teach! I can only imagine what a great teacher you are. Your desk looks a lot like mine used to look when I worked my M-F. I’m so impressed watching this a d getting a peek into your work world! I think it’s so cool your district offers breakfast! So many kids barely get a good beginning meal into them for the day.
I think you may be a wizard! You’re working magic over there. Bless you for all you do.
A wizard⁉️. That’s fun! I wanna be a wizard! 🥰🧙♀️ You should see my desk now! Since it’s time to take the classroom apart and clean up…it’s even crazier! I’m looking forward to the mornings when I can take invigorating walks like you do. 8 more days! Thanks for your kind words, Tracie. Teaching is hard..but incredibly fulfilling.
Thanks for sharing your day, and thoughts 🙂
My pleasure!
Thank you for being a teacher!! It is a hard job!! I enjoyed seeing how you started the day and prepared the classroom, and could feel how tired you were at the end of the day. Kids wear me out too! 😆
My pleasure! They do wear me out…so I’m grateful to come home to grown children. Lol. The days when my kids were school age while I was teaching school age children were really rough!
How wonderful !!! Until Age 12 I wanted to be a Teacher. So I have a sodt spot for things Teaching 😊 I think Teachers are amazing. I had WONDERFUL Teachers and really respect all that you do!
Wow! I appreciate your kindness. 🙏💕. What did you end up doing rather than teaching?
@@beautifullifesageg.3951 I support hubbys business with admin... and homeschool my child! 😊
My cousin has been a first grade teacher for about 20 years. The workload is huge! But she loves it.
You must go home exhausted at the end of every day!
Yes! I do! 🥴💕
Have a wonderful day!
It’s really cool to see how a fellow ADHD teacher moves through their day. I co-teach 2 9th grade history classses and ELA classes, teach rules based reading, test students for IEP evals, write reports, attend meetings, etc. I feel like my day is so whirlwind, but feel like elementary teachers have it even harder with the pacing. Thanks for sharing your day with us! I love how you chill on your breaks…. I’m usually shoving food in my mouth and watching Fortnite tips on UA-cam 😂 or waiting in a long bathroom line 😅
Long bathroom lines! Oh no! We have two faculty bathrooms in the part of campus I’m on and the primary teachers are literally RACING to them (1 stall each) after we drop our kids off to recess or lunch! I’m glad the video resonated with you. When does your summer start? Mine is June 11th.
Hi Jen, I used to be an early years teacher in the UK, it's so full on! Great video x
H I there fellow teacher! Thanks! 🙏
What a beautiful video, taking us along into your classroom. Yes, it's a non stop chain of everything happening at once in a classroom, as a fellow teacher I totally understand the need for 5 minutes in a calm environment. I wish I had a chair like yours at my school... P.S. I can see the number 500 in the horizon 😉!
Good morning! Thank you Sofia. I made this video in part, because over the course of my career when people learned that I teach 2nd grade, they would always respond with “How CUTE!” At times…it can be cute. Most of the time though, it’s far from cute! Lol. The students are cute! The work is hard and never ending. But it’s heart-centered work all the same. I’m glad to know you enjoyed it. 💕💕🤩
I started following you for your “grow UA-cam videos” but had no idea you were a teacher too. Glad I started following you. I have a channel for teachers too.
Welcome aboard! From one teacher to another…SUMMER IS almost here! I saw you had a Fit and Healthy series…I’m looking forward to watching it! 🤩
This was a lovely chill video
Hey there and thanks! I’m thrilled it came across as “chill” because that was one of the busiest days I had in May! 🥴🥰
@beautifullifesageg.3951 you did an amazing job. Being a teacher isn't easy at all. And I think your tone of voice helps, it's a very calm tone.
Great video Jen & congratulations on not only making it through but filming it! Do you have a link or name for the 'bilateral' music you were playing? The sound really relaxed me & my runaway brain.😂❤
Hi there Sarah! I appreciate your comment. 💕 I listen to random channels on UA-cam. I just search “bilateral stimulation” and choose one. The one I love has a green ivy image of a face. It’s beautiful. 🌿💚
❤❤❤❤
I love that you serve the children breakfast ❤ In Sweden we serve lunch for free i elementary school but only the children who pay to go to the child care centre att the school ("fritidshem" in Swedish for those age 6-10) before school starts get breakfast.🥣
Some schools in California serve free lunch depending on the economic status of the students. Our school is in a low-income area so all students get free lunch if they don’t bring their own. Thanks for sharing how that works in Sweden! 💕🙏 What grade or subject do you teach?
