I think the dynamics in the US, at the moment, are more relatable to the British Civil War than it is to the American Civil War. At least when it comes to families being split on different sides, the heavy propaganda and the heavy religous overtomes combined with a "king" that one side think is useless and wants to be done with. Am I the only one seeing this?
I'm here in LA, it's 84 and gorgeous out, and the Dodgers face the Yankees in the World Series starting tomorrow, and California is the 4th largest economy in the world, and surpassed by the country itself and the last thing happening is a civil war. Everytime someone abroad makes such claims I think, have they no idea of the size of this country and the might of our economy?

Interesting proposition, so there would have to be a re-naming ? One could become the North Americas and the other The Republic of Gilead. The latter would tie in well with "Project 2025" as that appears to have been written with The Handmaid's Tale in mind .

There is no need for a civil war. Secession is a more peaceful solution. After all, the United States is a partnership between states, and forcing that partnership upon states wishing not to be part of it is useless and might only lead to unnecessary bloodshed. Legally, every state has the right to secede in the same manner every partner of a partnership has the right to withdraw from it.
Have you ever studied American History? I swear this is like idiocracy in real life. States can't just "leave" The Union becuase they want to enslave Black people, or persecute womens rights and LGBQT rights , or becuase they want to open concentration camps for Latinos.

No, there is no such right. We lost a lot of people to prove that point.
Secession would be far more painful than those backing it would believe. Social Security would terminate for its citizens, and since the majority of Republicans are elderly or disabled, its economics would collapse before it even started.
