Hey Tom thanks for making the video(s). They're really great to watch, regardless of how boring you think they are. There are a lot of musky nuts out there who eat this stuff up. I love watching musky content. Thanks.

Not boring at all Tom! Thanks for showing comparisons of these large baits. I just picked up a 12" Mattlock, and Headlock in a custom pattern, and can't wait to try the out on the local tiger muskies. They a definitely a serious chunk of lumber!

Lure choice comes down to understanding your body of water, bait fish movements and their specific depth based on the time of year. Next is trolling speed and third is color.

Jakes look good, but I’ve only caught 3 fish in like 10 years on them. Grandmas are awesome though! The 13” Believers wander like a Headlock, but seem hard to find lately.

The camera mount you have your GoPro mounted that's extended away from the boat. Can you give some info on that, what it is. That's a neat camera angle.

Tom Boley nice. I love the angle it puts reaching away from the boat. I'll have to give her a go.

great video, certainly informative & not boring....anyhow, as a newbie to trolling & muskies in general, what do your trolling setups look like as far as rods, reels, (line counters), etc. MH rod with moderate action, as not to pull hooks out? & how about planer boards, do ya use big boards, like a church tackle TX-44? thanks for the info 👍👍

Dude you need to use reels with louder drags. Use Penn 309s (with or without line counters). No other manufacturer to date has a reel with drags that loud. The scream of their drag is 1/2 the excitement.

I will be using bigger lures like this next year. Got skunked for Muskie this year. But got a big bass and big walleye on my 10 inch Muskie lures.
If bass and walleye will take those no reason a Muskie won’t take a bigger one right?

How fast do you usually troll in the fall and how much line do you let out on the 13” gramma
