MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for showing students all over the world How to Solve Right Triangles. The basics are very important in science and engineering.
I finally understand it, I've been trying to understand this topic, and I don't dare to ask my subject teacher to explain it more. This helps a lot, thank you so much
Also thank you. I was searching and searching and for some stupid reason everything gives me written instructions in the form of an essay and I just don’t learn that way. I got to see it. Which is also why I saved this. I got to add this to my welders Bible.
the only way to help this guy back is to watch the ads that popping out on his video and I'm going to write this comment to all of his video for you to know you can help him back by just watching his ads
I’m having to re learn this sense it’s been two years and I’m getting into pipe fitting and pipe welding and this type of stuff is used a lot. Unfortunately the 1 thing that makes this different is imagine this in a 3 dimensional plain. The adjacent and opposite sides are your run and rise and your hypotenuse is the slope of the the pipe. 1 tricky part though. The slop is going up at an angle because let’s say you’re standing over the bottom pipe looking up the slope. The slope pipe has to meet with the top pipe 10 feet to left. So not only is it going up but it’s moving to the left of your original position. Shit gets complicated. If you’re a kid learning this and think it’s useless it’s not. It’s used a lot in the field.
Same in electricity where it's used a lot. In pretty much every trade at some level this stuff comes up. It's been like this since a long time. Oldest common sinus tablets were found in 500bc and this stuff was probably known way before
how would you use a trig function with the right angle? like sin90=opp/hyp isn't the opposite and hypotenuse of 90 the same side? namely, the hypotenuse?
Spherical trig next, using latitude and longitude find distances and between two points for navigation. I suggest the cosine laws so there will be no ambiguous answers.
For any electrician apprentice out there! This one video is not for us! It is a good video for students but not for us so move on 😂 don’t waste time here if you have quiz soon

Thank you for helping me learn the basics again so that I can do the difficult ones. I am enjoying engineering so much now
Will you ever cease to amaze me? God bless you son. Keep on giving us the knowledge
This was a fantastic explanation, you beat my math teacher
As soon as I get my money up I swear I'm going to join the membership you are a godsend.
Currently learning this in 8th grade for the tsi 😅😭
Thank you!

I liked this lesson so much. Thanks for sharing knowledge
Hey can you teach how to do transform laplace in differential equation. Thank you.

Thank you bro now i can 1 on 1 my math teacher
Is the SOH CAH TOA always the angle of the adjacent side?
Thankyou so much for sharing
Thank you very much!!! 😍😍😍
are u generating secret codes for people like spies can get information anyway this is helpful along with all of your videos
At 3:00 I dont understand how you get a square root and a fraction, i get a number when i calculate Cos(angle)
how would you use a trig function with the right angle? like sin90=opp/hyp isn't the opposite and hypotenuse of 90 the same side? namely, the hypotenuse?
I wish I were high on potenuse
sin90=1. in a unit cricle sine theta is equivalent to the y value (0,1)
Thanks. This will help me out for a quiz tomorrow.
This is about to be me
@@roger8220 Good luck! You got this
how would I know when to use tan, sin or cos?
😂 sounded so funny when he said so fast “I mean ?! I take that back”
Im convince my teacher just sucks at explaining. I understood this so quickly omg
My hero!
0:31 how did u get the 180
The angles inside of a triangle adds up to 180
This video is very informative.....
Can i use decimal points value instead of the square root ones?
For the 2nd one, I did a completely different solution which left me with the angles being reversed. (B was A and A was B).
I have a question, why does he use the angle 30 next to the cosine and sin when calculating the side ratios?
im done for.
tysm!!
Can U still solve angle A(In the 2nd equation) with SOH and CAH?
“The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side.”
When can i use SOH CAH TOA when there is two given angle?
why did you need to use tangent for the second example?
Hey can you please show me how to find the 100th term in a geometric sequence pattern please
Where do you get all this motivation from?
@James Eck ^
Cannot understand 😊😔💔
Pray😊
12(cos(30) in calc gives 1.85 can you tell me how to get 2 square root 3??
in 3:23 why you flipped √3/2 to 2/√3 ? isn't wrong ? enlighten me please
hes using the conjugate to rationalize the number containing the square root i do believe.
Because √3/2 is multiplied to c, and to isolate c you need to divide both sides by √3/2, which is the same as multiplying by the reciprocal 2/√3
"You can use a calculator to figure this part out" Does anyone fall for this???
I just wanna ask how'd you get the 90??
Right angle always equal to 90 degrees (the small square in the bottom is the right angle)
I’m dumb but u a dumb dumb
@@marwan1521 stfu weirdo its a simple question
i had no idea what SOHCAHTOA meant until this video
Where did he he’d square root of 3 over 2 from??
conjugate for rationalization i think
Okay, you covered right triangles. Now how do you do wrong triangles?
Funny -_-
What if we are not allowed to use calculators?
Spherical trig next, using latitude and longitude find distances and between two points for navigation. I suggest the cosine laws so there will be no ambiguous answers.
my professor wants decimal answer and i’m confused on how u convert it to a decimal… he doesn’t allow calculators on the exam.
Why don't any of the on line math teachers ever give actual numbers, I've never seen a tape measure that read in square roots
Is it possible to find the 3 sides of right triangle with all angles given
You can if it’s a ‘special’ right triangle.
Trying to learn this while having an exam💀🐺
