I have a semi-realistic idea for linking maps.
So obviously it would be difficult to put the maps onto one level, be it cuz it's hard to code, or due to performance issues(although keeping a reasonable render distance could solve that).
7:34 Camodo's idea is that there will be exits on each map that will teleport you to the other maps.
My idea is that after you select the location you want to travel to(or maybe there are separate exits for separate destinations), you will be teleported to a new "interstate" map which will just be a really big highway(maybe around twice as long as Special Stage Route B / "SSRB", if not longer) with rest stops and not much else, maybe even some random stuff or abandoned cars on the side of the road for free stuff such as parts. There can be several versions of the interstate that match the biome based on where you are travelling. Once you reach the end, you will be put into the map you wanted to travel to.
This could make travelling to other maps an actual road trip instead of a click of a button. Assuming that better car maintenance mechanics will be added in the future, taking care of your vehicle on these long drives can be a fun challenge(The long drive but better?!?!).
I would totally drive this distance, would give the tunnels some purpose other than looping back to other roads
i feel like a better way than teleporting would be selective rendering, just like minecraft. say 700-800 meters around you

As an actual truck driver, this video is pretty funny. Try driving 1800 miles in three days and then dealing with LA traffic just to get to your appointment unload. Not to mention backing up a 53-foot trailer into docks that were not designed for the length of a trailer... from a busy street and traffic doesn't like to stop for you.
But any way, cool video.
Speaking of doing serious damage with that thing, absolutely DO NOT use it for fragile cargo. Just leaving the loading zone will do enough damage to absolutely destroy it. I found using smaller vehicles is best for fragile cargos.

Sadly the career mode doesn't currently spawn enough cargo to properly utilise having a truck. I did a bit of modding and made more places spawn more heavy cargo, so it feels more realistic. Only issue is the payout seems to go up with the weight, and can't change it, so it's a bit OP at the moment

Camp out the quarry when you unlock it for pick up spots, 200-500$ payouts on loads that go to either construction or hot rolled steel, at least for me

Usually the new docking area is where you can make the largest deliveries, so going there can make you a few thousand a delivery.

8:00. You were talking about backing in somewhere just before and missed the perfect opportunity to do so. I drove truck and had to deliver to a place with the exact same entrance and backed in with a super-b train. (3 axle lead and 2 axle pup trailer)
My respect to you!! A spot like that *and* a B-train is definitely not for the faint of heart!

how many different tuck deliveries are there are they randomized so theres always a delivery to do or is there only so many u can do cause when i do truck deliveries i dont wanna do the same mission repeatedly.
