DONT WASTE TIME ON THIS METHOD, while in the equation, type #() then press enter and it will automatically appear. Sorry EPIC mentorship but this method is time-consuming and not easy at all
then you can't change the font, you can't reference it from elsewhere, and you can't make it auto renumber when other equations are inserted, super impractical for larger scales or more professional settings
Very well done, thank you. I would really like to add the chapter number. How do I adjust the field to do that ? This is how WORD does is {STYLEREF 1\s}.{SEQ Equation \* ARABIC \s 1} but it puts it either above or below the table. Copy/paste does not seem to be working . I want it just like you do it. INSIDE the table. How do adjust the field to include chapter number? The style I use for chapter number is Heading 1
Hello. Can you make some sort of table of contents from that sequence? or to have some sort of hyperlinks inside your doc to click them and go directly to that eq? Thanks!

Most underrated comment ever thank you!
I wanna give you 100 likes but I can only give 1

I have been in internet for almost 20 years and it is the most usefull thing i ever seen
@@kurocat471 then please tell me how you would do it, i would love to know too! thank you in advance!
Thank you, this is really a genius way to number equations.
Welcome

This was fantastic thank you!
Welcome
You are super smart! Thank you for the hack
Thank you very much @EPIC Mentorship, this made my task very easy, very clever method!
Thank you. How can I add this "Field" on the Insert tab? I just don't see it in Word. I am using Word 365
Never mind. I found it. It's under Quick Parts... ua-cam.com/video/AVNWnleSpGw/v-deo.html
Thanks a ton for this. Genius method
very helpful thank you!
Welcome
Well explained. Great video!
so if I want to add the chapter number to that sequence, what should I do?
Did you figure this one out?
Hello. Can you make some sort of table of contents from that sequence? or to have some sort of hyperlinks inside your doc to click them and go directly to that eq? Thanks!
You have to link it to equation numbers i think i made a video about it let me check and share
@@EPICMentorship any updates on this?
how to make the cross-reference with brackets? example, as seen in Equation (2.3)
Have you figured this one out sir?
Pro tip: you can type your equation, and when you're done end with something like #(1) and that will number the equation with 1
Thanks!!!! Saved me 5 minutes of watching a frustrating video.
I tried that, it worked, but that's not auto numbering
This method does not create cross-reference within the document.
Nice but basically impossible to select all equations and reset when you have like hundred pages...
which is why Latex exist, it's the best option for technical documentation
