- Ms Word tutorial on how to type / insert equation in Ms Word: Three different ways. It includes how to type equation like LaTeX which is the secret and the fastest method to type math and chemical equation in Ms Word. In this tutorial you will learn 3 different ways of typing equation in Ms Word. This video will cover method to type subscript, superscript, Greek symbols, accents, integration, fraction, differential equation, chemical equation, reaction arrows, matrix, vectors, square root, chemistry symbols, mathematical symbols.
First is Graphical user interface (GUI).
Second method is Ink Equation.
Third method is Math autocorrect. This method is like LaTeX which most of the people don't know.
Typing math equation, chemical equation or engineering equation or writing methametics in Ms Word is a tedious task. There are many ways to insert equation in Ms Word. Then how to type equation in MS Word efficiently. This Ms word tutorial on Inserting math equation with Greek alphabet or Greek symbols, subscript, superscript, mathematical symbols like integral sum-mission etc, accents are easy without using Math type. Now word has similar ability to type equation like LaTeX has. But if we want to type lot of mathematics in word having lot of equations, then it's better to learn shortcut that will speed up the takes. This video is about this shortcut that will help us do our work more efficiently. Inserting Greek symbols, complicated technical equation or mathematical equation etc in report, scientific papers, journal, thesis or dissertation etc is now quite easier. If I get you correctly. Shortcut for equation editor is Alt+=. Then you can type anything you want including non math.
@@pickupbrain I mean, the shortcut of the "text" button in conversion group in the equation tab.

It should work I don't know that is the problem. However, instead of Alt + =, you can go to Insert Tab and click Equation to get equation editor.

If you want to make it look properly, You can make a Table and then customize borders (blank, dotted etc) to get desired result.
