My uncle Sam Stevenson passed last year and would talk often about his time singing with the Dynamics and having a chance meet so many artists during his show biz years. RIP Uncle Sammy it was a honor to preach your eulogy... Love your Nephew.... Tracy....

Wow, I didn’t know they were from Detroit. I remember hearing this on the radio and I believe I seen them on ‘Swinging Time’ (local dance show). I thought there were only 3 members. Detroit’s my hometown also.

I just loved this song and watching the guys execute exceptional and tricky footwork is appreciated. All vocals are outstanding and the guys are looking very nice as well. I especially like the moves of the guy on the right. I love you, girl --I just love that endearment.

Never heard of the group nor song, but glad to see this piece of history regardless of slight interference. I came from an era when tv wasn't digital, so it fits for the time period! lol

The Hy Litt show out of Philly used to put on all of the soul performers back in the day! I remember never missing an episode of that show. That show, The Georgie Woods show, and Jerry Blavatt's shows were all on point. Folks talk about Motown, and rightfully so, but I don't think that they had more artists than Philly!

When I first heard this song back when I was in high school the local DJ was calling the group Emory and The Dynamics which was odd since I found out later on that there was no one in the group named Emory.
Emory and the Dynamics were a different group.

So many are referencing 1969 but WVON AM Chicago was playing this song around Summer/Fall 1967. Back in the Day WVON made many an Artist popular! GOD BLESS!!!

this song entered the WKNR Music Guide on March 6th 1969. It reached number 59 on Billboard Magazine on April 19, 1969.
Wish you had a video of George White singing "What would i do". Actually thought that was their better song.

@@ILMJXXX I'm sure that back then, they had no way of knowing how valuable this would be to future generations. No one back in 1969 was still playing music from the 1910s and the 1920s on the radio or television (except maybe Lawrence Welk). I'm just thankful this footage even exists.
